Left the North East this morning and saw a few, lots on the motorway bridges and our local fb page is full of them.

No, because I live in Scotland.

Brief visit to family in our old, prosperous, majority white coastal town in NW England. Depressing. Union flags all along one of the main thoroughfares.
Even more depressing, union and St. George flags hanging from windows on the estate where our eldest and her family live with “Stop the Boats” printed on them.
Thankfully, they are the minority though. Dozens appeared a couple of weeks ago and other residents took them down.

Wasn't that girl defending herself from someone who followed her and repeatedly tried to touch her and her friend?

Why was she carrying weapons?

We had loads. Council took them all down. Some scary looking blokes put them all back again and more. Most are upside down.

Quite honestly it makes a change to see a flag that is not Gaza. A few near to me but I saw a lot in Birmingham which is very multicultural and whites make up less than 50 percent.

My daughter thinks it’s England ladies rugby?

Bless her heart.

There is here. No flags either 👏👏👏

I think the fad has largely passed. There’s still some up where we are but it was mostly part of the summer silly season where kids had too much time off and not enough to do. Everyone’s back at school and work now, and it’s getting a bit chilly in the evenings.

Some flags were up for the rugby. Now the final is over there will be fewer around.
