There seem to be a lot of professionals here but I’m sure we have a wide mix.

I’m a Nutritional Therapist working with a GP. I specialise in metabolic therapy.

Communications consultant (well paid but who knows with GenAI in a year or two); and Independent film producer- (currently unpaid, but could turn into an income…… hopefully by the time I lose the other job!)

I’m retired from school, but now have three part time jobs which add up to 50+ hours a week… all in jobs I absolutely love.

Watersports instructor.
Nursery worker.
PA to adult with additional needs.

Happy to!

I completed a 3.5 year advanced diploma in Nutritional Science and Therapeutics and then advanced certification in ketogenics which is therapeutic carbohydrate restriction (1 year).

I am employed by a GP to help patients who have metabolic syndrome so heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity etc. I also do adjunct treatment with cancer patients. With recent research about the impact of ketogenic metabolic therapy for mental health we are now offering the service to patients with these issues.

Charity Finance Administrator. In reality, I do anything and everything that the trustees don’t want to do! Work remotely and autonomously. Retiring next spring and can’t wait!

Digital Assets (ie crypto and blockchain) operational solutions lead.

That's not my job title but it's what I do.

xkcd1883 · 15/08/2025 11:54

Ha! My job is so dodgy it triggers an auto-hide. Hopefully MN will review and allow it.

(I work in an area of finance that is associated with scams so the terminology often triggers spam filters. However, very respectable financial services companies are also genuinely active in the space and I work for one of those.)

Edit: phew, it was unhidden. Thanks MN.

Limboing · 15/08/2025 12:07

Thank you. That sounds interesting. I’d love to have something more holistic in our area (waited a couple of years for a referral due to my body falling off a cliff after covid - have conditions now where there’s some conflict between them and gaining weight erratically even though on restricting low cal diet). Was sooo disappointed that couldn’t give me any advice when I finally got appt. Well done and thanks for sharing.
