so he’s done a vow renewal after only getting wed in 2022 and none of his siblings or parents were there, just seems to have been organised by his billionaire wife’s parents. It looks like a very deliberate fuck you to his family. What can they have done to deserve such shocking treatment? It’s bizarre. And let’s hope the marriage to the (reportedly prickly, hard work) billionaire works, so he doesn’t have to come crawling back to Mum and Dad………

The Ramsays are close friends with the Beckams
The Ramsay’ kids appear to have direction . going to university , building a career independent of their parents , so what went wrong with the Beckam kids?
The three boys appear to have little direction .
The youngest son ( aged 20) is dating a thirty year old woman.

It appears that all three of the boys are always involved in some sort of romantic relationship but don’t appear to use their privilege to do anything constructive with their lives

Let’s face it we all go through stages where we fall out with family. Nothing more than that except for the fact they are in the spotlight. I hope it all works out ok as he seemed so close to his family before.

I very much agree with this, they may be loving parents but they have appeared to have produced aimless, vacuous children who just want to be celebrities, considering the ambition, drive and talent David and Victoria have (particularly David on the talent front) it amazes me they appear happy to have children with none of this.

Yes, this is a key point. Jools Oliver and Tana Ramsay don’t totally give their young children privacy - I mean, I wince a bit when they post photos on social media, or wish them happy birthdays publicly, but then I’m of the view that you don’t post your children at all until they can consent - but neither of them are in the league the Beckhams are. It’s non stop with the Beckhams: the kids have been moulded into part of the brand. They’ve never known any other life and in this respect their parents have let them down dreadfully. I wonder how David and Victoria feel when they see the Ramsay kids achieving well in careers. It must be a stark comparison to their own children.

One of Jamie Oliver’s daughters was at the same university as my son at the same time and just seemed to have a normal student experience. From what he said people knew who she was but nothing was made of it. His other children and Gordon Ramsay’s also seem to have studied or found a vocation. Life without a purpose must be odd.

It’s all just very sad, family rifts are hard no matter how rich you are.

Marc Anthony, a friend of the Beckhams, had agreed to perform at the wedding as a gift to the newlywed couple. They had a particular track picked out for one of their early dances together. I read that David Beckham was very keen on them getting a good education, maybe go to university but it was Victoria who said they didn’t need to as they would get offers of work, opportunities etc.
