so he’s done a vow renewal after only getting wed in 2022 and none of his siblings or parents were there, just seems to have been organised by his billionaire wife’s parents. It looks like a very deliberate fuck you to his family. What can they have done to deserve such shocking treatment? It’s bizarre. And let’s hope the marriage to the (reportedly prickly, hard work) billionaire works, so he doesn’t have to come crawling back to Mum and Dad………

I agree with this. Its not a good look for a 'wise' man in his 80's - unless he 'knows' something hideous about D&V that we dont.

I suspect that N P-B is 'hard work' and he will do anything to keep her from kicking off. Maybe he is encouraging BB as sees him as someone uncomplicated and dedicate that can absorb the stress of his DD - so he doesnt have to. He has 10 DCs in total (can only see that one is an actor and one plyed on a hockey team his DF was intending to buy - maybe the rest have grounding jobs in healthcare / military etc?) - maybe he is keen DGCs or knows this - BB - is as good as its going to get for his daughter? I would see BB as a very caring and hands on DF - might be the making of him?

Oh dear God. JAZZ HANDS all round. IC is a stage school, rather than training for a serious stage career. It is certainly no RADA, Central or Lamda.

Someone upthread said she’s now at Italian Conti? Think she was at Glendower Prep to 11 which turns out very academically prepped girls especially in English if so IME. They generally do very well in entrance exams & show D/V were very academically ambitious for Harper if they made that choice initially.

I can't see it somehow, they both seem too spoilt and immature. Also in every photo I see of them kissing, Nicola seems to be gurning/enduring it. I'd be surprised if she was into him enough to want a lifelong tie to him for which I can't really blame her.

Yes if the one I am thinking of it had a previously excellent female head & is only very slightly academically selective in reality. Not St Paul’s or Putney High or even Ibstock perhaps academically. A very happy school which is most important.

There is truth in this that I can relate to. I am from a fucked up family and the pattern I noticed later on in myself was to have relationships with men who came from big noisy famlies who all seemed to care for each other. My family was small, fractured and full of mind games, silences and fear. My dad was very sly and manipulaitve and it was so lovely to be with people who just laughed and joked around with no hidden agenda. I can remember visiting one boyfriend and almost weeping with envy at how relaxed the atmosphere was compared to the eggshells and ice I was used to.

Agree, it's a very naice girls school. It's absolutely not a powerhouse school and that is certainly no bad thing.

if Harper’s still there she’ll hopefully be enjoying her time, thriving & making good friends. It was an unusually happy place when I knew it & this can only serve her very well.
