so he’s done a vow renewal after only getting wed in 2022 and none of his siblings or parents were there, just seems to have been organised by his billionaire wife’s parents. It looks like a very deliberate fuck you to his family. What can they have done to deserve such shocking treatment? It’s bizarre. And let’s hope the marriage to the (reportedly prickly, hard work) billionaire works, so he doesn’t have to come crawling back to Mum and Dad………

I agree and they didn’t get to agree to it. They were part of brand Beckham from birth and thrust into the spotlight at premiers etc. There was never a conversation about it, happened from birth. No anonymity, threat of kidnap etc, must be horrendous.

It’s fast becoming the new Harry & Meghan, isn’t it.

Teachers and nannies really shouldn't be gossiping about their charges.

Especially Nannies who are part of the family.

They sold their kids, they've used them as props in their pursuit of fame and publicity. They've never once given them a normal life. You reap what you sow. They've chased the money and fame for the past 20 odd years, I remember seeing something about how Victoria walks out a hotel door, gets in a car and drives round the back just for a pap walk. Maybe they need to stop feeding the media with all these stories and maybe it might sort itself out.

David has had numerous affairs, if the internet is to believed, I'm sure he'd be happier if he could leave but either she's too much of a door mat or she doesn't want it hurting Brand Beckham so won't let him leave. She'd probably be happier too.

Maybe Brooklyn for all his faults, has had enough of playing happy families when he knows the truth.

The Peltz's lawsuit against the wedding planners for the original event showed they were both nightmares. They managed to go through 3 different planners, one of whom pulled out 6 weeks before the event.

Absolutely! DH and I have been invited to a few of these at our ripe old age, and our standard reaction is to speculate over which one had an affair. 😂

I wonder if it’s a petty tit for tat thing - Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday, then they saw all of the photos online and then saw that people thought they were spiteful for not attending and blamed Nicola for the rift.

So now they have had the performative vow renewals with her family and then paid back the feeling by plastering the photos online in the hope that people would think bad of David and Victoria and they would feel left out, but it’s back-fired and people still blame Brooklyn and Nicola for the rift.

They seem to have a tit for tat attitude - I remember them saying Brooklyns Grandmothers were sad not to have a photo with Brooklyn at David’s birthday because he didn’t attend, then almost immediately Nicola posted a photo of herself with her deceased Grandmothers gushing about them.

I have a copy of BB's book I picked up in a charity shop for the princely sum of 20p

It brings more joy to my life than almost anything, honestly the elephant photo is one of its better ones in terms of quality. It's so bad it's brilliant.

It's the same story with Harry and Meghan. They are a walking disaster, thanks to both their families of origin. They aren't bright enough to notice and break the dysfunctional patterns. (And/or they are very high in narcissistic traits).

In my mind, people renew vows if they’ve been unfaithful and are trying to make another go of it, or desperate to prove their love to others because it’s not real … then often split up
IF it’s a big 2 fingers to the Beckham family, then it’s pretty shitty of them, but also her parents!!

my DS was at the school at the time the Beckhams were looking at schools for their move back to UK. One of the boys asked a teacher if the Beckham boys were going to attend and the teachers reply was - can you really see them passing the entrance exam?
I was looking forward to seeing Vic at the summer fair serving up pizzas! Lol
