I want to teach my 10 and 13 year olds some ‘funny’ insults from back in the day - any others that need resurrecting??

One of my Mum's "she's a face'd stand clogging" meaning the person in question could be hit in the face with a clog and wouldn't look any different.

OMG, this is brutal and I love it 😂

Twat - where I grew up, it was considered a mild term of abuse. Maybe not one to teach the young ‘uns though!

Yes, same!

Twunt as well, although that was always considered more borderline

Home-slice, 80s for girls that weren’t pretty. I was a homeslice.

Where i’m from this means close friend, as in ‘homie’!

Spoon (Scotland, late 80s)

Also late 70s Scotland.
There are quite a few I remember but couldn't possibly type them out now as extremely offensive but were the norm back late 70s early 80s.

It's older than the others on here (Enid Blyton sort of era), but 'Goose'. As in, 'You were rather a goose, you know!'
