Any sign of the thunderstorm yet in the SE ? Very humid here ,fan on but no sign of any rain etc .

Going to happen after midnight according to the BBC news earlier. I'm in the east midlands and melting 🥵🥵

The air is like soup! I've just had a shower and got I to bed wet!

I’m in the SE, not feeling hot or humid but have closed all our roof windows because the forecast is definitely looking wet overnight.
I’m lying under the duvet, no fan on.
Dh keeps piping up from his slumber to ask if it’s warm enough for the fan yet 😂 he could put it on, it’s angled away from me, I’m not mean enough to dictate when he can and can’t have the fan on!!

Lightning in East Sussex, very still air. I can’t wait for a good downpour to clear the air a bit.

I’m on the Sussex coast, watching the spectacular lightning over the channel but no rain yet.

I’ve got my blinds open so I can see the lightning if/when it arrives, I love a good storm!

Storm is supposed to be due around 3am where I am in London. I love listening to storms so will be very upset if it doesn’t make an appearance.

My husband is on his sailing boat over at Cowes 😂Think I will just enjoy my fan and see what happens! I love storm and we really need it ,not sure about the dog though!

Another one suffering air like soup! Cannot wait for it to clear. Pretty much given up hope in our neck of the woods. Every time they say it's gonna rain, it doesn't.

Watching Lightning Maps but they're still a way off from me yet. The air is so still and stuffy. I think they should hit around 3am, I hope I sleep through them as I am scared of storms especially at night!!

North Hampshire. Not yet. The medication I'm on since the stroke is making the heat hard to cope with. The air from the fan is making the hyper sensitive nerves go mad, it's impossible to sleep even though I'm totally bloody exhausted! 🥵🥲

The air is getting thicker and soupier and storm maps tracking look like it will miss here. Argh.

Humph. I’m just north of London. The much promised Noah’s ark style rain and biblical storms that were meant to start at 4am have so far presented as about ten minutes of drizzle half an hour ago-now stopped.

It’s raining here (SW Home Counties). Nice gentle English rain… so far.
