Trying to get better at reading the cards. Anyone got something they want a quick answer too? Yes/no questions are ideal for the sake of speed but if you really want to know something else feel free to ask. I'm NOT a psychic so you'll probably need to give some context. Just whatever you are comfortable with. Just for fun guys. Don't take it too serious x

Ok so something about travel keeps coming up.

This makes me wonder if you are either going to meet someone travelling or, who is from a foreign land.

The lovers card is present. But as it comes with travel being prominent, may also be saying 'the nature of relationships are ever changing'. Not in a sad way. But that the one for you today might not necessarily be the one for you 10 years from now. There may be several loves in your life.

I do also see an offer though and when asked for clarity it actually started marriage and then family (family does not have to include children).

My feeling is that there will be love. But that it may be plural. And at some point down the line one leads to marriage. Perhaps from an exotic man.

There's a numerology thing where you use your birthdates to calculate a 'life path' I think life path one is the leader (it's been a while so I'm not sure) and I was thinking that when I looked at your word choice but wasn't going to say. But the first card that came out of the deck for you was the emperor. And I suppose he is a leader. So I thought I'd mention it.

There's a lot about either leading or, forging your own path in the cards. It feels like the deck a warrior or a spiritual teacher would have. There is also something about helping others. And...trying to think of a way to put this, it's like 'being a warrior (or a messenger) of the light'. This could be teaching. Or spiritual work. Or life coaching.

I was actually wondering if I was reading my own cards here. Let's hope it's your reading and I'm not balzing this up somehow lol.

Independence. But not in the sense of not caring about others. I feel what you are supposed to be doing needs someone who isn't afraid to say no to the status quo if required. And who knows when to be strong and when to be soft...Annnnd now im describing toilet roll, great xD

You are meant to have freedom to create your own path in a way that works for you. To live in the sun and to strive to bring the sun to others.

I feel 'Cover all your bases' is what you need to know. I think of this as perhaps, if you decide you have to leave or, if he were to leave you, make sure you have protections in place. Like a nest egg of savings. Or a bag prepared incase you need to get out fast for some reason. There a lot of talk about not leaving yourself vulnerable.

When asked about trust in general: The cards suggest there may be deception in future. But the way it's coming across is 'if you close your eyes and look away, of course it leaves you vulnerable to a strike'.

Not ignore danger or behaviour you don't like. Doing so will not make the problem go away.
The deception mentioned may even be self deception. Although if I'm honest, the cards look like they are indicating him.

Perhaps being on the ball, having conversations rather than brushing things under the carpet will help to keep both parties true. If, that's what you want.

But for some reason I'm thinking of that doctor who episode where it's like 'don't blink, don't look away and don't blink'. And realistically, that's no way to live. If it's meaning that's how you are feeling.

There's something about judgement. Perhaps the fear of being judged for leaving? Or simply telling you to trust your judgement.

But the strongest thing coming through is to protect yourself.

I have tried discussing things with him but he's not very open in that what he says doesn't back up his actions and doesn't ring true.The blink reference may be because I'm on my guard, subconsciously keeping a watch out for any clues/signs. Yes, it's no way to live. Once you don't trust a person not to hurt you then it's game over IMHO.
I'm not in any danger but vulnerable financially and emotionally which is why I'm in preparation mode.

I have one. I’ve not done this before as I usually have strong clarity around things. But this time the anxiety clouds everything. I am sitting a professional exam. It’s one of many many many exams but this has proven much harder (I am much older….my perimenopausal brain is very very different.). Can I pass it?

Someone is shouldering something and I'm not sure if it's saying he will step up at least, at first, but perhaps feel it burdensome or, that you will feel like you are shouldering too much moving forwards.

There might be a vibe of you (or him) feeling like you are doing all the work.

I think this may be a just for fun thing. And it could work as such. But...options are being kept open, let's put it that way.

I think you need to be clear what you want moving forwards and pay attention to both his words and whether or not his actions support them.

If you ever get an instinct that he's saying and doing all the right things but something just feels...off. I'd trust it.

Oh good news you were able to chat and to come to an arrangement that works for you both! I'm glad it wasn't a case of you both wanting different things. Looks like I got that part wrong. I wasn't sure what the burden was about so assumed it might be feeling burdened by the relationship or what was 'expected' of them in it. Thankyou for letting me know! Ok so the cards give a lot of magician energy. This is telling you you have the power to mould and shape things going forwards. At first it looked like it was saying you could make either work but I placed cards for both options and found...

That option one, although it suggested you could stay and make things work, sort things out, clean things up - your heart hurts to do it. The only thing going in it's favour really is the lovers card. Perhaps this means people you work with that you care about or someone you have a crush on. Or that you love what you do but it's just this recent turn of events has sort of soured it for you.

You have to decide if that's a good enough reason to stay. But tbh it feels very much...like crunching on fractured glass. At least for a time.

The second option of course has lots of movement as it means leaving the job. It has lots of page energy which can symbolising having to start all over again. Retraining. And that may be an annoyance.

This is very specific but it's that feeling of a younger person being in a more senior role and they are just a bit annoying. But then that could be the current situation TBF not the new place.

Overall it looks like a new job is the better option. But you know yourself you are more than capable of making either work for you going forwards.

There is a message about sleeping on it. When you are in bed at night are all is quiet, what is your gut telling you you want to do? Let that guide you.

My question is should I stay with my partner?

I draw the hermit card which...suggests solo living. And the strength card suggesting a strong decision must be made.

Something has been hard and there may be some fakery or deception involved.
There's a lie here or if it's not a lie then it's someone wearing a mask to disguise an aspect of themselves or what they truly want.

This is a very specific example but when someone dangles marriage on a stick because they know the other person wants it. And the know they'll forgive more than they should in the hopes of getting it. That kind of thing might be relevant.

Or like if you were playing with me because you wanted to see what id say so you made up a partner that doesn't exist xD I only suggest this as the cards could theoretically point to that too. The hermit (she's actually on her own), the devil (dodgy motives).

Assuming that's not the case though. There is a lot of 'spiritual' at play. The hierophant (like a pope) came up along with the devil. And the strength card depicts a woman with a lion beside her and made me think of the Christian story about Daniel. Who is thrown into the lions den for praying to God but the lions do not harm him because he has faith.

There may be a message in the story for you to think upon.

Perhaps, put your faith in the right person and they will protect you. Put it in the wrong person and you may get eaten up. Or perhaps it's simply, do not sleep in the lions den and expect to get out alive, unless you are as loyal and lucky as Daniel was.

When I saw this I had such a feeling that I don't know if I can describe and do justice. It felt like something light was bending down to scoop you up in its arms and tell you it's all going to be ok.

I found myself thinking of that film 'the little princess'. Where, to paraphrase, she says that all girls are princesses, young or old, rich or poor'.
I am also thinking about India but that's probably just because the film starts there.

I draw the two of wands. A choice is on the way. You must weigh up your options and pursue your choice boldly. Planning is one thing but a dream is just a dream until you take action. Do I see a world of wealth ahead for you, where you live in a golden castle and drink champagne for breakfast? No. But, with graft I see you satisfied with where you are. Not having to struggle. Able to be princess of your own little home. And our home is our castle after all.

I was hoping the cards would say no because that's an easy cop out for me isn't it?

They did mention travel tomorrow.
My feeling is it's saying to take what joy you can in it and if it gets too much, leave. A flying visit just to be cordial perhaps. Maybe have somewhere else you 'need to be' just incase. But you may even find you are glad you went.

Edit: to be fair they could also be telling you to go out and 'celebrate' in your own company. But there is movement and it does look like it is family related.

Yes.

The temperance card came up. In time things will calm down. The hermit card was also pulled. It may be worth looking into getting time to yourself. I'm thinking about gardening for some reason but it may be nature in general. Perhaps this is a struggle at the moment but make time for yourself when you can. I'm also thinking about teas. Peppermint or green tea or something like that. Hot baths, epsom salts. And, this is maybe a funny one but, whale sounds or like sounds of nature on the headphones.

My feeling is that for now it's a 'take peace where you can find it's and prioritise self care' vibe. When possible. Until things calm down. You cannot pour from an empty cup after all.

Ok so two things come up.

Thinking clearly (and...moving). Making a decision to move now because you are in the state of being driven mad...may leave you feeling resentful when you do move. You may always feel angry you were driven from your home by these louts.

But IF you stay, I don't see it stopping any time soon (as much I was hoping to be able to say 'he'll get knicked and you'll get peace').

I would suggest trying to take a holiday. Even if it's just a few days away in a different city. But the longer the better. Give yourself time to miss home. And when it gets to the end of the trip, ask yourself if you actually, 'have everything you need right here'. If you even really miss home that much. Or if you'd rather stay there or, find somewhere else that's just as peaceful to be home

I want you to be able to leave with the mindset that you are simply choosing to move on to leave and happiness. Not being robbed of anything or forced out. Because you want to begin a new place as a fresh start and happy beginning.

Since asking for my reading I’ve had colorectal surgery and currently in recovery with lots of sitz baths and trying to be gentle on the tummy so I am very impressed ☺️

I thought rainbow baby was just a term of affection for a child that was really really wanted and i was confused as i felt like I was getting two different stories pulling the cards there. I had to go and look up the term.

I am heartily sorry for your loss.

I don't normally like to answer regarding life, death and serious health issues but the cards say something is coming in quickly. I don't want to get your hopes up as it could simply be relevant news to your situation. There is lots of talk about cycles and life cycles. Perhaps there is fear about age regarding trying for a baby again.

Perhaps it plays upon the idea of reincarnation. That we all come round again. When it is our time.
