Anyone fancy a quick tarot card reading? (I need practice)

Trying to get better at reading the cards.

Anyone got something they want a quick answer too? Yes/no questions are ideal for the sake of speed but if you really want to know something else feel free to ask.

I'm NOT a psychic so you'll probably need to give some context. Just whatever you are comfortable with.

Just for fun guys. Don't take it too serious x

I can't work out how your page numbering works 😂

I'm on page 2, but according to the time of the posts your are currently answering, I'm still in the queue (my time 19/07/2025 02:39) so it's all good!

Sorry to clog up your thread, but wanted to say that you're doing a great job answering and following up with posters.

I see you on page 7.

I am on my phone so maybe it's different on a computer or I dunno if there's a phone app.

How many pages in total does it show you?
Because it says 17 for me. (Luckily half of them are my replies probably lol).

Me please.
Will we manage to win our SEN Tribunal please.
Thank you.

Shitstix · 24/07/2025 13:32

I'm on my phone too, and have 5 pages.

Yes please! Will our run of “bad luck” end soon? thank you!

I asked what good news you have to look forwards to. I felt like phrasing the question positively.

I felt a feeling of relief. Like 'oh thank goodness that's over and done with'.

I actually see a celebration.
And people looking forwards to something nice.
It makes me think of when you're on a laptop looking at holidays or a new purchase for the home.

Funnily enough it has me thinking about a shed. Or it might be a conservatory. If that's relevant in some way. Perhaps painting or a room being painted in pretty colours.

The energy is 'nice'. Very cotton candy-ish.

I'd actually say it might be worth trying to step into that energy now if possible. I don't know if the situation allows for it of course but I feel if you step into a little bit of fun and whimsy it might lighten the load in the meantime before everything starts to feeling lighter.

That's odd, maybe there's some sort of setting for number of posts per page.

If its not too late, I have an unusual one. Is John (1828) the same person as George (1828)? I'm trying to find more than circumstantial evidence, but at present it's eluding me.

Chapel records.

Talk of titles being passed on. Something handed down.

Someone 'getting away to the stillness'.
A move to the country perhaps?
A lake.

I know there wasn't a war on at that time but I get the feeling of maybe moving away from the hustle. And disillusionment.
There's also something that feels very sad here.

I did wonder if perhaps named after his father George changed his name to John to distance or disinherit himself for some reason.

But largely...it feels like someone got on a train/ship and left.

Edit: just realised you said 1828 not 1928.
It would make sense that people just had to go where there was work for them at that time.
Not to say they never came back of course.

Thanks for this.
Getting away: John was transported for theft in the 1850s.
Prior to that, there's no sign of him.
He's supposed to have a brother, George. After 1845 there's no sign of him, but John's just been put in prison.
Both born same year, apparently to the same family.

Frederica4 · 24/07/2025 16:08

@Sodthesystem thank you so much. This is eerie in its relevance

No way! I been wondering since I replied to you if the big lake that was coming up was actually something like over the water to the Americans for a fresh beginning or Australia for crime and the name was changed maybe to hide from criminality.

I'm wasn't bringing up 2 seperate people for the read but nor was I getting that they were the same. Is it possible that one brother was lost young and the other just used his name at times moving forwards?

Because it was only really showing me one adult.
And just that feeling of sadness. Which I suppose makes sense if the poor fella was shipped off for theft.

Would love that. Could do with some guidance right now x

I don't know if you replied with more info or not but I'll try give you something general regarding the cards pulled seen as I don't know the specifics like is it in love or work etc.

The moon card and the 8 of swords came out.
Representing a time where...I wanted to say, times are uncertain. But for some reason the words come as 'when you don't know your arse from your elbow' hahaha. Like me with some of these readings xD

A message reads about something being missing.

Another talks about you having power.
'You're a star'

Normally the cards I'm pulling would indicate feeling like things need to play out before you can move but I actually think this could be a personal, inner battle.

Needing confidence to take the next steps.
Perhaps afraid that moving one way could negatively affect the outcome and so, feeling frozen in place.

The cards say you have more strength and power than you know and you will get through this.
There is talk of solitude and also vulnerability. That alone doesn't have to mean lonely.

Me please, if you are still doing them!

Sodthesystem · 24/07/2025 18:07

pottytrainingdd · 18/07/2025 23:43

Yes please - is it DDog’s time? X

I draw the strength card and the six of swords reversed. An issue around strength and not wanting to let go.

I actually think this is a no. There a feeling of stubbornness around the question that's almost like 'what are you talking about! As if! Absolutely not!'.

But it's also a little bit like, when you have an elderly relative that probably needs to be in a home but they are point blank having none of it. Perhaps they do not know what is right for them. Or perhaps they do.

My feeling is it's not time yet.

Nuxe606 · 18/07/2025 23:43

Me please. Will I find peace and happiness in my life with someone.

I draw the 5 of wands reversed which actually talks about a move towards harmony so seems apt. The empress card. A herald of abundance. I see a lot of friendship and fun. The six of swords depicting a move to calmer waters.

I see you creating a sanctuary for yourself.
There is a lovers card too but it's presented in a 'im not going to let anyone destroy my peace' way. I think of a little courtyard with an orange tree for some reason. I do think there is someone you will grow old with. But it may be later in life. The cards show a focus on creating your own joy first.

Me please if you don’t mind. Will my luck finally change for the better?

I hear someone talking about swings and roundabouts. In that way we do in the UK where we are pessimistic but, humourous about it.

There's some sort of choice coming in that will change things for you. I was searching for the way to put it and it reminds me of I think it's Spiderman when the uncle talks to Peter Parker about choosing between what is right and what is easy. It will make a difference.

Make decisions with your long term goals in mind. Luck can be made. But it seems planning is going to be key.

Will I ever get back on my feet after this operation?

The hanged man. Talks of a point in time where things feel suspended. His feet are bound. But, he is unburdened by it. He is simply waiting things out.

I thought 'until the fool comes along to cut the ropes' for some reason there and shrugged it off because well, that's not a thing xD. Annnnd then I pull the fool card!

Staying positive is going to be key in this recovery. This is rest bite, not a theft or an end.

Yes please. My DP has just been made redundant - will he find another job soon? (He’s on gardening leave for three months but before the end of that would be optimal!)

There is something about this having actually worked out well.

Something about either friends or community rallying round or holding the key to next steps.
The initiation of a new project or idea.

There is also something about swift progress or things happening rapidly. It looks like good news.

Will I get a settlement? If so will I get a large sum.

The ten of swords.
A man with ten swords in his back.
Perhaps a claim as a result of injury something that left you or someone seriously hurt.

Or course it could also be around negligence.

I draw the justice card and the queen of cups.

The queen of cups is someone who represents nurturing and compassion. And I would argue that a queen of cups could represent having a full cup too. Which can be abundance.

I think things are going to work in your favor.

I don't draw any pentacles cards which I often would for money matters. But I feel that you will feel the outcome is fair however it is settled.
