'Creative juices' is awful.

Literally. It weakens the sentence.

KittytheHare · 15/07/2025 11:59

Pop of colour

Little ones or little people

So very

Oh yes ^agree! My little man is even worse!

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 15/07/2025 12:00

“Love you to the moon and back”

The moon isn’t even that far away!

User415373 · 15/07/2025 12:01

Holding space.

BitSilly · 15/07/2025 12:02

I thought 'creative juices' in my OP was bad enough but I've just remembered
'Get those creative juices flowing' is even worse 😂

You got this
Holding space
Your/her/his/its truth
Setting boundaries (over-used)
Narcissist (everyone is if you go by today's usage)
"Honouring" this, that and the other.

Basically any hackneyed overpathologizing everything, instagram therapy-speak phrases floating around today

ShiftingSand · 15/07/2025 12:04

Everything happens for a reason (no actually, sometimes things just happen).
With respect (you just know that there’s going to be some disrespect following this)
I’m not being funny but … (you’re going to be rude let’s face it)
Perfect - is it? I’ve just given you my name, no need to say perfect.
Did you find everything you needed today?
Why me? (why not you?)

RepoTheGeriatricOpera · 15/07/2025 12:05

Neurospicy

Even worse - neurosparkly

LollyWillow · 15/07/2025 12:05

Fur babies
Reaching out
I know it's a word rather than a phrase but I really hate 'folks'. I don't mind Americans using it (it's just part of their vernacular) but anybody else; No.

NannyOf8Girls · 15/07/2025 12:05

stop making this all about you

SoloSofa24 · 15/07/2025 12:06

Elevate, as in 'elevate your look' or 'elevate your bathroom' with some product or other, as used in every other instagram post I seem to look at recently. My bathroom is not going to lift off the ground if I put in fancy taps.

Agreed. Add to this, blue sky thinking and squaring the circle in the work category 😂

MammaTo · 15/07/2025 12:07

Anyone using the word mama in a phrase, “keep going mama” or “you’re doing amazing mama”. Makes my body recoil.

ShiftingSand · 15/07/2025 12:09

DrNo007 · 15/07/2025 11:56

"Fur babies" for animals and "making memories". Ugh.

Plant babies is also cringeworthy.

sweetsardineface · 15/07/2025 12:10

Birthing or birthed 🤢

EternalLodga · 15/07/2025 12:11

Haha!! Not sure if this just in the area where I am from but we all say this!! ‘He turned round and said…’ as though everyone we’re having conversations with have their backs to us!!

Lots of people near me say this, but not just once or twice through the whole story:

"She turned round to me and said...."
"So then I turned round to her and said..."
"And then she turned around to me and said"

I can't help but imagine them rotating on the spot while having their conversation! 😂

wannabewhere · 15/07/2025 12:13

Wiglio · 15/07/2025 11:49

She turned round and said….

and then she turned round, and then he turned round, and then she turned round....and then they were dizzy

SharkBaitOooHaha · 15/07/2025 12:13

I’m not a racist but…. Continues with racist comment.
I don’t like to gossip but… Continues to gossip and bitch about someone.

GoingToEgypt · 15/07/2025 12:14

You do you
Let that sink in
Louder for the people at the back

All LinkedIn specials, can’t stand it any more.

GreyLion · 15/07/2025 12:14

I say it as it is - I find usually said by someone who doesn’t know the full facts of what they’re talking about

legolegoeverywhereandnotadroptodrink · 15/07/2025 12:14

“ Worse case”

Yorkshiremum80 · 15/07/2025 12:16
