What one thing do you like on your toast?

Apart from just salty butter, I love peanut butter. It goes all warm and flight and tastes delicious.

Apart from peanut butter, homemade bramble jelly is so nice.
I am on the sourdough toast now, can digest it . I miss the white hovis toast though ( but not the IBS type symptoms after eating it.

It’s harder to find these days!

My own home made jams or really good honey (increasingly rare in a supermarket - home produced is usually better - so much is just sugary syrup, reflecting what bees are fed when foraging is poor).

I luurrrrrrve toast. No 1 is marmite, always, but also marmalade, jam, lemon curd, golden syrup, sardines, crab paste, eggs, beans, cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, avo. Pretty much anything tbh.

Gasp! Why have you not had toast in years?? I could not survive! :)
