Was anyone at Cardiff tonight? Bet it was one hell of a show!

Not a fan of stadium gigs. Most people have to just watch the screen as the artists look like ants on the stage.
The atmosphere can be great though.

Why? Genuine question.

Whats an oasis concert got to do with Palestine?

Exactly. It’s a music concert not a political rally. And Oasis rightly keep their noses out of shit like that.

I’m going at the start of August. Can’t wait. @Jamesblonde2dont worry me and my mates are all bringing our Palestine flags, wouldn’t want to let the side down

There’s always one…..

indoorplantqueen · 05/07/2025 15:46

@WhatTheHalleBerryi am going to oasis but I won’t be taking a flag. It was really a response to @Jamesblonde2 they brought Palestine into it. Why?

@Waitingfordoggo i saw Pulp in Birmingham the other week. It was an amazing show!
I love pulp - they were at the perfect time for me, for obsession in my teen years and I still feel the same. Jarvis a brilliant front man - still soooo sexy!
lots of phones there, but it’s just how it is these days……

Stormytoday · 05/07/2025 16:02

It looked fantastic and people came out buzzing saying it was the best gig they had ever been to. I wish I had gone! (I live in Cardiff but I know it was hard to get a ticket.)

legosnowqueen · 05/07/2025 16:25

Looking forward to Heaton Park too. Also to seeing Pulp at Tramlines - some great live music this summer!

And showers of wee 🤢

Now that’s authentic to their gigs in the 90s 🤣 even if the phones aren’t

TeeBee · 05/07/2025 16:35

I bought my son’s tickets. They absolutely loved it!

Stormytoday · 05/07/2025 16:38

I think it would have been exciting to have gone on the opening night.

Waitingfordoggo · 05/07/2025 17:37

@Springflowersyay- my feelings exactly re Pulp! They were big at exactly the right time for my teenage self to be obsessed with- Jarvis specifically if I’m honest 😂

I first saw them in 1998, saw them twice in 2011 and once in 2023. So happy to be seeing them again and it will be the first time my kids have seen them. They’re not Pulp fans per se as they don’t know the band very well, but like many older teens, they really like 90s bands generally so I think they’ll enjoy it.

Anyone wanting to sell a standing ticket or exchange two standing tickets for two seated ones? (Weds 30th July 2025 Wembley)

I wish people would get off their stupid phones and actually enjoy the moment.
I've trained my four kids to take a photo and then put their phones and way and actually watch and absorb the gig. I've seen gigs where people watch the entire thing. Thought
their little screen. It's never as good. Sad arses.

Prince had the right idea. Signs up all over saying "This concert is for your memories only" and you'd get booted out if you were seen filming. The constant filming is ruining it for everyone.
