What are you wearing?

I have no idea what to wear 🤷‍♀️. Think it's likely to be cooler in Glasgow than when we leave home for the day (Yorkshire - 6am train 🙈).

As someone from Glasgow all I can recommend is something waterproof! Although from memory I think the weather ended up not too bad last year. Its on grass so not too hard on the feet.

Layers. Rain is always a possibility and it can be chilly near the river too.

Fingers crossed it stays dry.

I'm actually nipping to town tomorrow so will have a look for a lightweight rain coat/mac of some sort. & I'll go for my wide leg jeans instead of the shorts I was vaguely considering.

I'm old now so never heard of this. But on reading the title it sounded like a Trans event to me! Is it? Slightly unfortunate name if not, depending on your viewpoint I suppose.

We are going on the Saturday. Does anyone know how strict it is to get in? My daughter is 15 (almost 16). I got the tickets as part of her Christmas present without realising you have to be 16

@Stychie I got a notification last night from the app, and so did 18yo dd1, to remember ID - it said if you look under 25 they may ask you for it, so I'm expecting dd to be asked for hers.

Oh dear. i am really worried that she will be refused entry - she looks older but certainly not 25. i wouldn’t even bother trying but she is sooo looking forward to it. Guess we will just take our chances.

Eek. I hope it works out for you. Dd2 is not far off 16 but would definitely be stopped so we didn't ask her if she wanted to do the round trip with us. Which artists did she want to see?

I want to see Lucia & the Best Boys; we've both been following Alessi Rose so want to see her, and Inhaler (for the fourth time this year 🙈), Fontaines & Wunderhorse. And, I quite like Biffy Clyro, so we'll hang about for them but towards the back so we can make a quick ish exit for our coach home. I'll forego my usual confetti shot 🤣

oh yes, i forgot Wunderhorse - that’s another fave and i think they are on quite early (if we get in). i haven’t been this stressed since the Oasis ticket release. Hope you and your daughter have a ball. I booked a hotel nearby (this could be a very expensive non- event 😢)

Lots of sun cream required - and a beverage or 2 😉

@Stychie Wunderhorse are around 2:10pm. Our plan is stay at main stage - there's only Chloe Slater we were also bothered about seeing...we'll just hope she tours again soon ish. We have train beverages - although they're likely to be consumed early ish, then water all the way for me!

I think the under 16 rule was to discourage large groups of teens who cause bother

Oh I really hope you're right about the under 16 rule. My 15 year old also looks much older, but certainly not 25 (am hoping the Challenge 25 policy is reserved for the bar). By now, we should be starting to look forward to it and plan who we will be seeing, but I just feel slightly sick when I think of the potential of her getting turned away.

Im already feeling sorry for the security and first aid staff. Hot weather and all the fannies that'll drink too much. Glad im not working it this year.

Oh dear. We were thinking have a couple early, then refill water bottles for the rest of the day. If bars are rammed then we'll not bother with the booze. It's not important 🤷‍♀️

Booze will be extortionate. Some stalls are charging 15 quid for a slice of pizza.
