I like strawberries and I like cream and I like sandwiches but I don’t fancy this at all. Apparently it’s their current top selling sandwich. Has anyone tried one?

Aren't cucumbers fruit, too?

Noooo.... What about:

Lamb and prunes.
Duck a l'Orange (or peaches)
Mackerel and gooseberries/rhubarb
Parma ham and melon
Figs, marscapone and parma ham, baked
Beef and orange
Peanut butter on toast with sweet chilli jam. (Australian, apparently.)

Plus, just for Pedants Corner, tomatoes are a fruit. (And, I just learned, so are aubergines!) The fibre count is dropping.

All gorgeous

And peanut butter, on toast, with cheese melted on top under the grill, with red chilli.

Fabulous.

Olives are also a fruit

Apparently!

We used to cook a fantastic fish dish with fried cucumbers and a rich cream and reduced fish stock sauce. Yum.

Plus, as a kid, we liked cucumber sandwiches. Maybe with Philadelphia cheese... Brioche hadn't made it over the Channel by then, though.

Hell yeah! As are chillies... Put these on a pizza with some parma ham and I'd be happy.
