What can I get myself for my birthday.

Think everyone has forgotten it's my birthday soon. Also everyone is kind of skint. So fuck it i will treat myself 🤣 so what can I buy myself.

I will say no to:
Hair dressers, spa, alcohol. A night out. No make up type things

How old are your kids? How about all of you go out for a picnic in honour of your birthday?
Pop to the shops and ask them to help you choose some flowers or a plant or whatever.
If your dc goes on about their birthday, remind them playfully “hey! It’s my birthday first so that’s more important right now”
Show them that you matter too. This is an opportunity to show your dc how to be considerate and caring of others as well as Showing them that their mum is an actual person in her own right who deserves attention and kindness, just like everyone else.

Currently listening to a 3hr music mix my X put together for me. Easily the best present he gave me.

I don't think it's pointless treating yourself. I usually treat myself at Christmas. I'd be buying some 🍫 and perhaps a book or tickets to something I want to see.

I love my birthday; we don’t really bother at all except for a wee surprise once in a while, but I use it as an excuse to treat myself. We don’t have much money but I go ‘oh I’ll have that, it’s my birthday!’ This year I had a birthday month 👍. It was fun! 👌

Im going to lunch with dd and ds in a bit . Im going to get a tattoo but im going to save for it so I will do that at a later point im happy with going for a meal 😃

@Imagoodperson999 what do you have in mind for your tattoo? Is there a specific design you have in mind? If you’re not sure, as a present to yourself could you find someone to design your tattoo for you while you save up for the actual thing?

I want one, just for me, somewhere I can see it but can keep it covered. As I’ve told people what I want and it’s quite specific I’m not sharing!

Years ago I had a memory tattoo for my dad . As I was holding his hand just after he died. And I decided I wanted a tattoo of my hand holding his. With the words for ever holding your hand . But its a bit shit . So I wanted it redone properly with proper colour.

When I was working and earning tips, I would save all of the tips and go on holiday, particularly in August for my birthday, the best birthday to me from me - a fantastic holiday. How about a trip away - or a nice pair of trainers or Doc Marten boots ( if you like them obviously) theatre, fancy meal, but until you decide, a nice cake and a bunch of flowers, maybe a fancy candle. You can do what ever you want, its YOUR birthday. Happy birthday !
