It was just on BBC.

Sunrise is the same time each day but sunset tonight is 21:21 whereas for the next 3 nights it's 21:22.

By Wednesday sunrise is a minute later so exact amount of daylight as today.

The days don't actually get shorter until Friday 27th (when there is a minute less daylight than today?)

Maybe the BBC info isn't correct? Who knows!

Accoding to BBC By 4th July we've already lost 8 whole minutes of daylight. Mind-blowing!!

Edited

Then the daylight starts getting less. Soon we'll be talking about heating and winter.

It’s my wedding anniversary. We were supposed to be married on 21 June 2020 but of course the year I book my wedding is the same year a global pandemic hits.

so we had to put it off for a year. But then we enjoyed the distinction of being the first post lockdown wedding on 21 June 2021
