Why are you up this early on the summer solstice?

I am just leaving to pick up a friend to go for a swim and watch the sun come up

I couldn't sleep because of the heat, even with the air cooler on 2. Got lots to do, going to a national trust place with DD and family at 9, shopping first for picnic and dogs for a run

I have to work

Going for a run before it gets too hot. Only been running for a year and the old me would have never even contemplated this

In hospital unable to sleep. I had surgery yesterday and didn’t get to drop off. When I did about 4.30 they decided to have the call system checked, cue loud noise in my room. Not been back to sleep since.

This isn’t early for me, I am up at 5am every day. The birds start singing and I am awake. I am swimming today too. We have friends coming and a festival tonight.

I climbed a big hill, drumming, watched the sunrise and took a few naked photos with 3 men I met yesterday afternoon. Back in bed in my camper van now.

Went for a swim and the sea was packed! You wouldn’t believe it was 4.20 am!

Love some of these. I’m going for a walk soon once I’ve finished my tea but wish it was a sea swim.

8 week old DD had a rotavirus poonami after her vaccines the other day . Now she’s wide awake and very smiley :)

I’ve been awake about an hour. Found out this week my mum is going to die. I woke up in a panic this morning thinking ‘what if it’s today’

My 7 year old is up with the larks,so he bounded in at 5. Now relaxing with tea while they play together as 4 year old is now up and about also.

I'm just about to paint a pallet in my garden before it gets too hot! It holds all of my herbs

Just about to walk up Snowdon!! Very excited as the last time I did it, I couldn't see a metre away, but today I think the views will be glorious!

My cat had gabapentin at the vets yesterday and was off his tits last night. I got up at six to check on him and give him his meds. I can confirm he is less of his tits this morning!

Been up for an hour after a coughing fit woke me up. Husband and I both not well with what's probably COVID. He's managed to get back to sleep but my head is pounding.

I always seem to wake up at 5-5.30 at the moment. I've actually got out of bed because I was just lying on a sticky bed anyway. Am currently catching up on some cleaning that needs doing but know I won't wanna face doing when it gets hotter later.

Been awake since 4:45am (not unusual for me), done some doom scrolling and now bored. Still trying to wrap my head around the fact that we accepted an offer on our house yesterday. Feels a bit too much like adulting 😂

I met a friend and we went and watched the sunrise together. It was amazing.
