Do you know where your passport is right now

Even if you do go and check. Kids break up soon and you don’t want a last minute panic.

I had a middle of the night panic about the dates on my ds passport and feel better for checking

Yes it’s in a zip folder in the bureau about a metre away from me with the GHICs, we are airport ready!

Yes I do. And used it a few weeks ago so know all good and back in its usual place. Hoping this prompts someone who then avoids any future stresses because of the reminder! 😊

Yes, I know exactly where my passport, birth certificate, will, divorce papers and other important documents are - in a fireproof box in my wardrobe. I had to get passport out to apply for a US visa so checked the renewal date, I knew it still had a few years left but have now put a reminder in my phone six months before.

lol - only yesterday I had a “where the fuck is the passport?” Moment as I needed it for ID.

It used to live in the bureau drawer, for years. I got rid of the bureau a few months ago. So where would I put it?

Logically it would be in the “important docs” file with birth certificates…. Which seemed to have ……. disappeared from the filing cabinet 😱. Luckily it was just hidden behind the Tax folder, its label obscured by a badly filed envelope- and yes, passport was there. Doesn’t expire until 2028. All good. Phew.

Police station?

Passport right next to me. I'll have to double check that you've made me nervous @legyeleven 🤣

Police deal with passports in my country and and sometimes you have to go in person, like this time DD has to give her fingerprints because she's over 12 now.

Still less hassle than getting British passports Grin

Let us know how that goes. My uk passport expired years ago and I've only used my Finnish one since then but now this eta thing is messing that up.

im an Irish citizen and we don’t need the new ETA. Going through Gare du Nord yesterday was fine…. No idea if other nationalities are being stopped….

I currently do not, although I am aware of it 😂. There is a chance it got left at Vienna Airport last week but currently it is a mystery!

im quite up for an Apple/British passport office collab where all passports have a built in AirTag…

I would like everyone to know it was in fact at Vienna Airport and is on its way back to me 😂

again quite clearly said if you are going abroad this summer then check. If you are staying in the U.K. then great don’t check your passport
if you just want to be offended then be offended

Quite surprised nobody’s reprimanded you for not acknowledging that not everyone can afford the cost of a passport
