MandM Direct is it a scam site?

I've come across the m and m direct website whisky looking for some shoes. It seems too good to be true and reviews on trustpilot are a mixed bag with a sprinkling of comments implying it is a scam site.

So I am undecided- has anyone used it?

I use it all the time - not a scam site. I even have the annual subscription delivery. I think it’s just last season’s stuff and you can’t always get the full range of sizes - once it’s gone it’s gone but it’s legit.

Never heard of them but there's a Wikipedia page that makes them look legit.

Not a scam, I use them often for things that don't need to latest fashion.

I'm another regular user. Buy a lot of stuff for my teenage sons. Very fast delivery (usually next day) and good prices too

Not a scam, been around for years my OH used to use them all the time.

It’s not a scam it’s just old stock bought in bulk and sold by a discount retailer.

Totally legit. As someone else said, usually older designs. Sometimes bargains to be had, other times in total rubbish on there.

No, they’re legit.

They used to be discount catalogue - well, more like a flyer. You signed up to it and it got delivered to your door. They sell off random / discontinued stock, so usually a bargain.

I have used it for coats and trainers for my dc when younger and myself.
Agree with the above comments that its usually previous seaon stuff/end of line and may not be available in all colours/sizes.

Just check the delivery and returns policy and costs

Agree. They’re an excellent source of finding your favourite pair of last year’s shoes which need replacing but are no longer available on the high street. Great pricing too.

My DP loves this site and has bought many things at bargain prices.

They've been around for donkey's years. They were a blueprint for Sports Direct. Selling off end of season lines and ex stock inventory at super cheap prices to the public, because it would otherwise be burned or sold to rag dealers for pennies per tonne.

I used it a lot for football boots for my kids - huge bargains on old seasons' stock. Never had any problems although any returns can get expensive (I didn't pay for the £9.99 annual postage thing)

Not a scam. Mu DH and BIL have bought from the site for years. They also offer a 12.99 yearly payment for unlimited amount of deliveries.

Same! I mostly use it for DH and DS but I’ve found them to be really reliable. You do have to pay to ship returns, you can buy a return voucher when you pay for £2.99 otherwise it’s £3.99
