I’ve eaten it and it was really breakfast I suppose.
Chopped apple, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, grapes, Greek yoghurt, honey and flaked almonds.

princesspadam · 30/05/2025 14:04

Will that see you through to dinner?

Ok, I'll bite because you've obviously shared a very healthy looking lunch. That red onion is going to need a lot of gum/breath mints to cover up... 😉

MauraLabingi · 30/05/2025 14:15

@princesspadam your lunch looks delicious! What are the black things, are they beetroot?

I had half a tin of beans and a slice of toast. I'm not exercising heavily today so not a big lunch.

lifemakeover · 30/05/2025 14:15

For transparency, I had left over pasta with bolognaise sauce and a handful of chocolate for my lunch!

hyggetyggedotorg · 30/05/2025 14:18

Well that’s clearly far too much food for one person for lunch! 😉

Somebody will be along in a minute to tell you they had one olive & a teaspoon of hummus.

Rickrolypoly · 30/05/2025 14:28

I had one olive and a teaspoon of hummus. Stuffed

ffsgloria · 30/05/2025 14:30

Half a tin of beans, 2 slices of jasons with salted butter. Heaven.

GLC789 · 30/05/2025 14:31

I ate my baby's chopped fruit and ham sandwich, whilst she ate my pesto pasta 🤣

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 30/05/2025 14:31

I had carrot and kale soup with a couple of frankfurters (bit random!), followed by banana and melon.

TheAutumnCrow · 30/05/2025 14:38

Beans on toast.

princesspadam · 30/05/2025 14:39

Beans on toast is the food of champions!!!! Whatever meal you have it for

I’m still hungry but I’m going out for dinner so trying not to think about more food

Multigrain seeded toast with avocado and a fried egg.

princesspadam · 30/05/2025 14:44

@hyggetyggedotorg 😂😂😂 I’ll have two frozen peas later to even things out

I had 50g of chicken breask and 50g of spicy cous cous, plus a baby cucumber. BUT I've previously had weight loss surgery so I eat tiny meals, I'm not just a single olive and teaspoon of houmous person!

OP I think your lunch looks absolutely delicious! (I miss being able to combine several foods in a meal), but the winner on this for me is the beans on buttery toast 💛

ERthree · 30/05/2025 14:55

I have just finished a fish wrap and a lemon yoghurt. Fish caught by Dh this morning, Salad from the Green house and a few Ayrshire potatoes with real butter and Sybies, not supposed to have butter but the Ayrshire potatoes are a once a year treat so i just had to use it.

Westfacing · 30/05/2025 14:57

Two M&S free-range sausages on Co-op toasted seeded sourdough bread, with butter and brown sauce Smile
I love food threads!

princesspadam · 30/05/2025 15:01

Ooh brown sauce yummmm far superior to red sauce (ketchup if you’re posh)

That is a huge amount of food! Like a dinner for 2 people not a lunch for 1...

I had a slice of cheese on toast and 2 cups of tea!

Lovelynames123 · 30/05/2025 15:04

I had a fresh baguette with chicken tikka, iceberg lettuce and mayo, probably calorific but delicious and I'm not watching what I eat anyway!

What’s on the side? Looks like scrambled whites on toast (very healthy, I’ve never had it).
Lots of tommies! Looks big enough for a dinner, but depends on plate size. I have strange dinners though, beans on toast, sometimes crackers, tommies, cucumber and some kind of dip.

Today I had a vegan burger, salad leaves and chips - ate out. Washed it down with a luke warm corona (I’m not working today).

angelinawasrobbed · 30/05/2025 15:07

A small chicken breast, no skin
some fresh mango
a bit of boiled egg
a vitamin gummy

princesspadam · 30/05/2025 15:09

It was cottage cheese and cucumber on a slice of sourdough
not my regular cottage cheese though, it seems to be out of stock every week
