And approximately how old are you?

I’m 40 and there were always multiple Kevins in a class.

In High school it was Kevin again for the boys and Fiona and Catherine for the girls. There were about 4 of each in my class.

PopsicleSchtick · 25/05/2025 16:02

46; grew up in the British Midlands.

Three Matthews (although only ever two at once) and two Julies in my primary school class. Three Louises, two Russells and two Davids in my secondary school class, plus at least two more Louises in the wider year from memory. (The other two Louises were in the same class too. Why whoever was sorting the admissions didn’t think to spread them across different classes is beyond me.)

I can think of four female and two male Sams in my year; three Richards, and maybe three Pauls? Lorna must have had a “moment” in my birth year as, despite being relatively unusual, there were two in my school year and then two in my university tutor group. My own name was relatively unusual when I was little, but became fashionable in the second half of the 90s.
