Central London
Independent or a nice chain (ideally one we don't have up north)
Budget £100-150 ish for 3 course dinner and a drink for two

No Indian or South Asian food

Hit me with your lovely suggestions please!

A set lunch somewhere? What kind of food? On YouTube Gary Eats is good. He had a set lunch at The Dorchester and The Savoy Grill. Greeno Eats as well.

Would need to be dinner rather than lunch as we'll be seeing a 2:30pm show at the theatre so something for after that. Open to almost any food other than Indian/south Asian really

Rita's is very good.

Some like The Ivy but may not be everyones taste. The original one in Soho. You Tube will give some ideas.

I'll be taking note of all suggestions and looking at current menus!

I was about to suggest here too. Awesome seafood and a 10min walk.

KoD does a great steak.

Oooh, get yourself over to Sheekeys. Gorgeous!

peppermum · 11/05/2025 22:20

I would recommend Brasserie Max at the Covent Garden Hotel in Monmouth St. Had a lovely evening there recently. It has a great varied menu and lovely service and isn’t too big

Thelondonone · 11/05/2025 22:21

Compton street brasserie, some places mentioned above will be more than £150. Violas is interesting and a bit different.lots of people like grasso, it was nice but not wow.

We really like Caravan. Modern, lots of choice, fairly funky.
