Start the week off right! My positive is that I am still managing to resist the chocolate stash! I WILL wait until Easter! 🤣 Although those pesky mini eggs are calling pretty loudly……..

My eldest sons girlfriend came round for dinner, first time of meeting her. I didn't burn anything 👍🤣

I might actually get my almost 5yr old's full volume of milk into him today.

Wondering why what’s usually a “ like” reaction says “ agree”?

Completed an assignment I’d been putting off

I had my 16 week appointment today for baby 3, I had tears in my eyes listening to it. I had no reason really to think anything would be wrong but it’s a beautiful sound and made me really happy.

DD came home from Uni and I haven't seen her since Christmas, gosh I have missed her. DS came home Sunday too so we are reunited.

We took up the offer to be bumped off an onward flight connection this afternoon because it was overbooked so are currently watching Dutch crime TV in an airport hotel, all fully paid, with a €350 each voucher to spend on a future flight. We’re only a 60 minute flight from home, tomorrow morning, so no drama!

I had a precious couple of hours with the teenagers today - took them out for lunch then bought cake on the way home which we ate whilst they showed me Italian brain rot clips of monkeys crossed with bananas and other such nonsense.
Led to an interesting discussion about whether TikTok has a sinister ulterior motive to make people more stupid. It's a bit Black Mirror but probably not too far from the truth...

Managed to pursued dc to take him for a fresh haircut. Our appointment is at 12:40. Fingers crossed it goes well for him and he doesn’t hate it…

Not to spoil the thread, but it didn’t go well. Too short and wonky fringe. They style it in a way it looks nice and then you come home and it’s a disaster. So tired of all the people who can’t do their job.

To balance with another positive - I booked a family weekend away.

It’s beautifully sunny and the cat is curled up asleep, dd is quiet in her room and soon we are off to lunch together ! Perfect!

My friend is popping in this afternoon for a catch up. Haven’t seen him for a while
Declutterred my wardrobe and will take to charity shop when I’m passing

I'm not dead. I am in ED, have been here since 7am as my heart is playing up, but it's OK now and I would like to go home!
