My DM asked me which Easter Egg I’d like this year (bless her) and honestly - I have no idea!

I need ideas. Which Easter egg would you like this year?

What's your favourite chocolate bar?

Needmorelego · 05/04/2025 19:59

I haven’t got a favourite! I think that’s part of my problem.

Go classic - a Roses or Quality Street one.

Phase2 · 05/04/2025 20:32

I want the two sides kitkat one

MinnieMountain · 05/04/2025 20:33

DS is having a Crunchie Inclusions egg. I’m having the Forrero Rocher equivalent.

Butteredtoast55 · 05/04/2025 20:38

I'm always hopeful for a Lindt bunny.

beautyqueeen · 05/04/2025 20:40

The m&s milk chocolate and pistachio one but they’re like gold dust!

dementedpixie · 05/04/2025 20:41

The last couple of years we've had Daim ones.

RosaBaby2 · 05/04/2025 20:42

The rowntrees one that looks a bit like Cadbury marvellous creations with sweeties in the chocolate!

hattie43 · 05/04/2025 20:43

Lindt - milk chocolate bunnies

Time40 · 05/04/2025 21:10

I'm always hopeful for a Lindt bunny

Noooooo! Biting bits off them is too sad! Headless bunnies! Noooo!

I found biting the ears off to be soul destroying, so I never bought another. I didn't feel as bad with the reindeer, but I still don't buy them.
My choice of egg would be a mini egg one. Although I would prefer a big bag of mini eggs, or a slab of mini egg chocolate.

Gundogday · 05/04/2025 21:14

You need to get a Buttons one. The buttons are INSIDE the egg, how Easter eggs are supposed to be!

PeriMoan · 05/04/2025 22:19

I wanted a Frys Chocolate Cream egg but haven't been able to find any this year. So I've got an After Eight large egg for me, a Yorkie one for DH and DC getting a variety of small ones (which are labeled as medium but I haven't seen smaller!) - mini egg, buttons, smarties etc, plus some creme eggs etc for the hunt.

TranceNation · 05/04/2025 22:26

Definitely mini eggs one

TheHistorian · 05/04/2025 22:57

M&S are doing a giant custard cream biscuit covered in chocolate. Not egg shaped at all but quirky and very popular. Taken a few trips to get hold of one.

HowToChangeWays · 05/04/2025 23:00

Lindt or Malteser
As long as it's not nestle I'd eat any.

I want this so much but no chance as I can't get to a store in a morning.

Mini eggs for me!

RabbitsRock · 06/04/2025 08:59

Ooh milk chocolate & pistachio! Will google to see how much these are.

IAmNeverThePerson · 06/04/2025 08:59

mini eggs - every time

RabbitsRock · 06/04/2025 09:01

£39??!!! Blimey!!

I personally wouldn't choose the Forrero Rocher egg as their chocolate is awful. You don't normally notice as the rest of the standard Forrero Rocher masks the chocolate used. It's the only Easter egg that I have ever thrown away, even my DH refused to eat it.

SomethingFun · 06/04/2025 09:09

I’d get Lindt or m and s from the supermarket as at least they won’t be terribly disappointing like cadburys is now. Hotel chocolate do nice Easter eggs if your mum is feeling flush.

I got ours this year from a local chocolate shop, they’re doing ones you can have your name iced on while you wait which feels very nostalgic - might be up your mum’s street if you have similar near you?
