My DM asked me which Easter Egg I’d like this year (bless her) and honestly - I have no idea!

I need ideas. Which Easter egg would you like this year?

Go classic - a Roses or Quality Street one.

I’ve bought my DP a Celebrations eggs and a pack of Galaxy truffle eggs 😊

M&S are doing a giant custard cream biscuit covered in chocolate. Not egg shaped at all but quirky and very popular. Taken a few trips to get hold of one.

I think I need this one! Thank you!

Sorry to bring bad news but it has been recalled:

Popular Easter eggs recalled over fears they could contain metal

That's not what you want to find in your Easter egg.

Oh nooo 😭 thank you for telling me! Just checked and mine is in the recall so DH is going to return it 😥

Lindt bunnies and Cadbury creme eggs 😊 ❤️

Hopefully you can find something else in time for Easter. Lidl often has eggs that are a bit out of the norm - I haven't bought one yet but that's where I will be looking.

I'm always hopeful for a Lindt bunny

Noooooo! Biting bits off them is too sad! Headless bunnies! Noooo!

Bite the heads off and fill the empty body with Baileys and whipped cream . The bunny will thank you , honestly

Now you’re talking my language.

Anyone seen any Green and Black ones in the shops? I’m sure it’s that brand I usually buy in the 70% chocolate (in am effort to vaguely be more healthy) but haven’t seen any this year.

Munchies

They seem less and less exciting each year. Sainsburys used to do a lovely large belgain chocolate bunny, Asda used to do some nice large eggs too and Marks and Spencers had some fantastic large eggs and hampers a few years ago. I still have my wooden window box I got years ago from M&S that was filled with Easter eggs and they did ones in cute paint tins. I've not seen anything really decent this year plus I've got the added issue of them having to be gluten free.

Gundogday · 08/04/2025 22:14

Years ago you got mugs with your eggs. Doesn’t seem a thing anymore,

KateArnott · 16/04/2025 17:54

I initially wanted the custard cream egg from M&S, as mentioned by a PP on this thread! It wasn’t in stock when I went, but I chose this Easter egg instead!

Looks delicious!

Any Cadbury ones that are made from Dairy Milk, so Buttons or just plain Dairy Milk. The others are the new-recipe milk chocolate which I still like but it’s not as nice as dairy milk
