First time all week I’ve not been able to sleep which is a huge improvement but I have a busy day tomorrow! fell asleep about 11pm woke up at midnight coughing. Now wide awake

At a friend’s house. Wine taken in the evening, so woke up about an hour ago. Now I need the toilet. It’s downstairs.

I’m just going to have to go for it and hope I don’t wake the whole household. I’ve been working on better sleep hygiene, but not tonight!

I'm in the door after clubbing, stone cold sober. I danced like nobody was watching and managed not to get drink spilled on me. It is surprisingly freeing to still be excited by new music even in my 50th year. My cats decided that 4am was a great time to demand a snack! I've had two large mugs of tea to rehydrate and hopefully I'll get some sleep. I'm helping out at an event later today.

I'm fortunate to be at a good point in my life and I wish the same for you.

Husband went on a rare night out. Text me at 1am saying he was on way home. I woke up at 2am and he wasn't home yet. Normally I'd hear him come in anyway as I'm a light sleeper. Woke up again at 4am and he wasn't in bed. Went downstairs as he sometimes crashes on sofa but no sign of him. Very worried I called him multiple times and was pondering on whether I should call the police. Sat there calling and worrying. Then thought to check the spare room... and there he was fast asleep! The relief!! Now I can't get back to sleep because of the adrenaline!

Meant to be taking my kids on a ££££ holiday on weds that we have all been so excited for. We escaped dv and have had a hell of a time. I went to check in last night to find one child’s passport has expired. Holiday down the drain, money lost, utterly devastated children. I feel like the worst parent in the world. This is what they needed, we were all so excited. And I have now broken their trust and let them down. I feel sick with myself.

Sorry to hear this, try the passport office again and see if you can get a human to help

Can you not get an emergency passport from the passport office. I'm sure you have looked into every option?

Too early to be awake on a weekend but here I am! Yesterday we got notice to quit our house of 18 years. We have had an apocalyptic two years and now this. I have no idea how we will afford a new place as the rents are likely to be double. We haven't told our kids yet. It just feels really daunting.

Id love to be asleep, but am currently sitting in a car park waiting for my daughter to leave a night club. It's a pain, but I'd rather be awake and picking her up than lying in bed and worrying!

Absolutely agree and it doesn't last forever, hope she had a good night.

If it takes a week could you change dates slightly? Could you sell what you have booked and go somewhere else for a shorter time. Feel so gutted for you.

I so hope you get it sorted. You all need a break, please be kind to yourself ❤️
