Ahhhhhhh

EmmaEmEmz · 02/04/2025 12:17

Oh my 😍😍😍

My bedroom looks over to a field and while it's not close enough to see them very well unless I zoomed my camera, my favourite sound in the early spring mornings is the gentle (but weirdly loud!) baas from the new lambs

SleepingStandingUp · 02/04/2025 12:17

Aww go Mama! Three is hard work. Maybe take her round a basket of something tasty 😂

Umthisisabitawkward · 02/04/2025 12:18

Oh, how lovely. I love this time of year!

Nosaucelikemintsauce · 02/04/2025 12:20

Isn’t it the best?

We’re surrounded by farmland so have sheep on one side, cows on the other, and donkeys at the back.

I love it.

Dumb londoner question, sorry - are the babies usually born in the spring, is it not all year round?

Radiatorvalves · 02/04/2025 13:07

I saw lots of Yorkshire lambs st the weekend. Unbelievably cute. Particularly when they do those little jumps and are gamboling about.

WatchingTheClowns · 02/04/2025 13:07

Adorable 😍

I'm not vegetarian but I haven't eaten lamb (or pork) for about 30 years

GladAllOver · 02/04/2025 13:08

They look gorgeous, just need fattening up for a few weeks. I love spring lamb.

Can the sheep care for them or will they need to try and get another sheep to "adopt" them?

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 02/04/2025 13:52

I've been stuck in with a stinker of a cold, but I'm looking forward to seeing all the new babies when I'm up to going out again. I'm local to the farm from "Spring/Winter/Summer/Autumn on the Farm" on Channel 5. And others of course!

labradorservant · 02/04/2025 13:53

She’ll need a spa day soon to take a break!

Goldiefrocks · 02/04/2025 13:54

Mum is doing well if she’s got enough milk for triplets.

They usually do okay, or occasionally bottle-feed if any of them are particularly small. The farmer will only try to get another ewe to adopt lambs if their own mother has died.
