Watching one of mg favourite films again, (Easy A) and it’s got Amanda Bynes in it.

I still feel so sorry for her. She was so talented and I loved her movies and it’s sad to see how she is now. I genuinely hope she gets all the help she needs

Agreed. What a pig. 3 years cheating on her? That's Stranger Things ruined.

(although I can't really see how it will work now the kids are all grown men/women!)

Doesn't she pay for sex? I'm sure she's cheated on him.

SeaBaseAlpha · 30/03/2025 09:23

Michael Schumacher.. I was very much not a fan of his as a driver, but from what snippets of information have come out he’s had a pretty terrible time since his accident.

AsterTurq · 30/03/2025 09:24

There are quite a few celebs I feel sorry for. Being in the public eye doesn’t mean you should not be entitled to some privacy and respect. But not people like Katie Price, Rachel Markle, etc. They have chased fame and fortune ruthlessly, regardless of any negative impact on others in their lives.

Billie Piper - imagine having to co-parent with Laurence Fox 🙄

Billie Piper intrigues me… she comes across as intelligent and insightful but has made some strange choices. Ok she was only 18 when she married Chris Evans so there’s some explanation there for an odd choice. But Laurence Fox, wtaf? And to go on to have two children with him? I can’t imagine he was ever anything but a vile misogynist

I'm not sure he know what psychotic means.

Yes I thought it was a strange comment …

Ive no idea 🤣 all that's been confirmed was that he was cheating for 3 years with wardrobe lady (I know what I mean!) and she has been pretty much broken.

Maybe? Who with? How much? Do they work Sundays?

Yes, she said in her memoir that she paid for sex. However that was with her first husband.

She is on a salary/financial agreement supposedly. Must be some £££ involved.

When her husband became American leader she upped her money in the pre nup. I feel so sorry for her supporting a nazi! Going to be life changing as the actions she supports makes life harder for everyone worldwide especially the vulnerable!

LunaNorth · 30/03/2025 09:41

Christina Applegate.
Selma Blair.
Michael J Fox.
Selena Gomez.

It must be rubbish living with a chronic health condition in the public eye.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 30/03/2025 09:43

Most of them, in a way. I would absolutely hate to be famous.

Rachel Ziegler

I don’tfeel sorry for her. She needs a metaphorical kick up the arse and learn some lessons in humility. She’s so insufferable I would prefer ten Meghan Markles to one Rachel Zegler.

24/7 medical care. Bad enough that the insurers tried to get out of the policy some years ago. They didn't!

I agree with these, I would add in Sarah Hyland as well who has had major health issues.

Michael J Fox is such a wonderful actor and human being it’s so unfair that he gets this health card when heinous creeps (famous and not famous) seem to live healthily till old age.

I don't feel a bit sorry for Meghan. The way she has treated others is despicable. That is the reason she has so many critics.

Wrong, it's the other way around, it's the way others have treated her. She is too nice and decent for her own good imo.

Namechangefordaughterevasion · 30/03/2025 09:55

My dad died on Mothers Day 1992 (30 March). In my head March 30 and Mothers Day are the equal anniversaries of his death.

I believe she does only fans

I find that even more baffling tbh. The internet is awash with free porn. Are people really paying enough for KK to take her clothes off to keep her in the lifestyle she's become accustomed to? I guess they must be but she won't be able to do it forever.

The talk of Peter Andre as a vicar may be said in jest but I wouldn't rule it out, the man would be guaranteed an audience which is not something he can claim these days. "Today's sermon is about loving your kids and I really love my kids. Although my Princess does sometimes drive me Insania, which leads us onto our first hymn..."

A lot of hate around the new movie was about the colour of her skin.
She's made some thoughtless comments but she was the best part of a bad movie and the movie flopping is being pinned on her. She's very talented.

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 30/03/2025 09:58

@TheBuffetInspector " I hate to admit it, but at the time, based on Lewis alone, I would have married Lawrence Fox."

I'm equally loath to admit it but at the time I'd have fought you for him. I had a serious crush on Hathaway, which Lawrence Fox has now killed stone dead.

Is this Snow White? Seems to be racism driving the hate.

The trouble with Meghan is, I can have moments where I do feel sorry for her but then something happens and I think, oh you entitled brat. For instance, the recent pile on with her show (admittedly I struggled to watch it and gave up by ep 4) but thought at least she's trying, then in my youtube feed yesterday up popped a short of her on Oprah where she was complaining and deriding her £32 million wedding and I went back to thinking, oh you entitled brat.

I don’t really follow celebrities as they all seem to be names from Love Island type shows, which I don’t watch. I can’t think of anything worse than being famous. (I’ll take the riches but a big No to fame).

Just because you have a very expensive wedding, much of it not of your input, doesn't mean to are obliged to enjoy it. You're being unreasonable insinuating she cannot be unhappy with parts of it just because of the price tag! A really really expensive wedding can be shit, a cheap one can be great. What if she wanted something simpler? Would she still be 'entitled' then?

Hottchoc · 30/03/2025 10:00

I only know about her as it's currently all over Twitter. I won't tell you the comments but they're pretty dehumanising.

The fact that we only know snippets of information shows what an incredible job his wife has done keeping his personal medical information out of public domain and ensuring he still has his dignity. I remember a few times where so called friends of theirs have been sniping about her because she refused to let them see Michael. Suspect their intentions weren't pure and she had their number.

I think there is a difference between compassion and genuinely feeling like they were treated badly.

I have compassion for Caroline Flack, having felt driven to attempt suicide myself. Her situation was however, all of her own making, much like Huw Edwards. It must have been a huge shock to their systems but whereas Huw was put in an appropriate place, she wasn’t. They were adults when they chose to become famous and in Caroline’s case for not really having a talent/profession.

I feel sorry for all those child stars, especially the ones that didn’t even make it after making money for the house of mouse. They must have this sunk cost fallacy about their childhoods which pushes them into extremes. I especially feel for the children of instagram influencer families, get ready for some awful stories in 5-10 years time.

Edited

Caroline Flack was very talented. Did you see any of her performances on Strictly? She channelled her talent into presenting and was at the top of her game.
