Batsford is gorgeous and very convenient from where you’ll be staying .
Snowshill Manor ( NT ) is also worth a visit , beautiful gardens and a very interesting house - you’d need a full day to appreciate both .

Our entire neighborhood in SE London. Every other street is lined with cherry blossoms. It's gorgeous!

I thought this when I saw the thread title! SE London here too, pretty much every other garden here has a cherry tree or two. I should appreciate them more

My secondary school had a cherry-tree lined drive, and I loved blossom time, as it meant we were nearing my birthday and the end of the school year.

They were all cut down, sadly, but now I have a cherry blossom tattoo on my foot in their memory.

Not helpful, but there’s my cherry blossom anecdote 🌸

The Stray in Harrogate has a lovely row of cherry blossoms. Last year I came across so many tourists taking photos I wondered what what’s happening at first!

That Saga article missed out The Cherry orchard at the Alnwick Gardens in Northumberland.
How rude!
It has the largest collection of Taihaku in the world. 329 trees.
They bloom together around the end of April, beginning of may.
Have a google of it, it is magical.

North London. The streets where I live are lined with them, and nearly every other house has a magnolia tree. It looks beautiful at the moment.

The Vale of Evesham blossom trail isn't that far from Moreton in Marsh, and the blossom this year is really good locally

Do you know if they're out yet in Harrogate?

As if happens I was in Birmingham earlier this week and saw some lovely trees I don't know if they are the same ones referred by a PP. There was some on the canal too.

No not yet . Went past today

Thanks. I think I had 'late April' in my head as the right time to see them, but wondered as they're out in other places so don't want to miss them as when I've been before they've been past their best. I'm also craving a cruffin from the fancy European bakery who's name I can't spell or be arsed to Google.

Oozels square in Birmingham as mentioned by a PP.
saw a gorgeous photograph of Heaton Park in Manchester.

We’re in Manchester this weekend, so I’m hoping to see some of the trail, although I don’t think we’ll have time for much of it.

The main road at the end of my road has a beautiful one - generally not a scenic place to visit though - it’s outside the fried chicken shop 😂

ThisPinkBee · 29/03/2025 08:32

The tree outside my flat 😂 It's also a hayfever nightmare so bring tissues.
