Just that really! I know people have come and gone, but how long have you been here? :)

19 years for me. I do miss the evenings spent roaring with laughter. Not sure if it’s me who changed or MN, but very few threads now seem anything like as witty or clever as they used to. Everything is meticulously policed for wrong thought, word or deed. But it’s still entertaining enough and informative, so here I still am.

I miss the Friday Night drunk thread.

Xenia and cod could always be relied upon for a forthright opinion.

Oh ...! I've just advance-searched my original username, and got results going back to 2011. My previous four years of bons mots have evaporated. I imagine the internet will survive without my ancient wisdom, but the threads I bookmarked for personal reasons will no longer be available for review. Serves me right for relying on somebody else's database instead of taking the trouble to download & back them up, I guess!

Thought I’d resurrect my old name. It wasn’t my first user name, but it was the time I felt most a part of the broader mumsnet community.

I joined 20 years ago, just when all the originals were bemoaning how the site was too big. I think I was around the thirty-thousandth member - it used to tell you in your profile.

I mostly lurk these days but this place saved me on more than one occasion. I’m not here as much because I don’t need saving anymore :) it all came good. Mostly because I took my life into my own hands, empowered by so many incredible women.

I’ve been kicking around here for about 21 years now. Sometimes a bit more, sometimes less, but overall MN has been a big part of my life for a long time now. I was here for Cod, cutted up pear, quiche, spiders and so much more. So many bloody brilliant giggles.

Plus thanks to MN I got to have tea with Davinia MC, take part in a super fun cookery session, got a free Xbox (early product trial!), and went along to some absolutely fabulous meet-ups.

MN has been my main source of amazing support and advice through some difficult times (including incredibly recently), and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for this bloody brilliant nest of vipers.

I joined just after ds was born and he’s 23 now. My member number (just checked) is around 3000. Guess I qualify as an old gimmer in mn terms!

I was a regular poster on Badmothersclub but they introduced subs and it all felt like it went downhill from there so I defected here with quite a few from the BMC!!

Been here 24 years. Joined right after DS was born. So long ago that I didn't realize that you weren't supposed to use your real name as a User Name!
