insomnia kicking in. But also had a job interview today and got the job! Which is far less stressful that my current job. But worried about telling my current work friends etc

Im sat up in bed watching the good wife. Playing prison tycoon on my iPad.. riveting stuff

Woke up with period pain (have had Mirena coil in 2 years and bleeding mostly stopped after the first year, but now I've been having proper heavy and painful ones quite frequently). Bit shit given that it's meant to last 5 years.

I have a very long day ahead of me with early travel for work and 6 hrs total of trains. Sigh.

Also listening to dawn chorus. Can't recognise the birds but they are so loud!

Insomnia - on steroids

Snoring DH and back pain has sent me to sofa. I'm sick of him rumbling away while I have to move

Oh I feel your pain. Noone sleeps better than a man that knows his partner can't sleep due to back issues and is sleep deprived. I'd say my neighbours think we play double bass all night the snores out of him. He's up now and heading to work, the walls have settled again, god love them 😂

I'm procrastinating getting some work done on my laptop so sat scrolling mumsnet on the sofa with my cat!

Wide awake here, been shopping online as I can’t sleep. Bought a few things I really didn’t need.

I am probably just overtired. I didn’t sleep last night,brain too busy and then up at 5 ,just finished 13 hour shift! Am absolutely exhausted,having marmite toast and hopefully conk out soon 🙏🙏

Tried to swallow my tablets and sicked them back up 😞

I’m sitting on a very hard floor in A&E with my 85 year old dad who’s waiting to be seen after a fall. We’ve had XRay and blood tests and we have already been here 7 hours…waiting to see the doctor. Been back and forth with GP and 111 since 5am this morning..oh and I’m a teacher so I’ve also put in a full day with 30 crazy ass kids. To say I’m tired is a bit of an understatement. Dad is very grumpy and impatient and is making his feelings about the situation plain. Need to pull up my positive and patient pants…

I'm downstairs on mumsnet. I love this time of night - everyone is fast asleep, the telly is off and all is quiet. I might go up to bed soon it just depends on if I feel tired enough, I haven't yawned yet so I guess I'll be up a little while longer. There is no point in going to bed if I'm not tired - I'll just end up staying awake getting grumpier and grumpier listening to DH snoring. He has to get up for work at 6am so I'll let him snore in peace for a bit longer.
