Has anyone used this? I’ve just ordered a jar after hearing some good things about it ( although only online and not people I know so always a bit sceptical!)

What benefits did you see and how long did it take to notice them?

I am going to use this thread to share my experience when It’s delivered ( tomorrow)

Happy to have joiners!

I like it. Been using it about a.month..

Whattodo12e · 20/03/2025 20:22

Op most of us won't know like me - what this is
Tablet, cream?

BearPear · 20/03/2025 20:24

My son’s partner has been using this for a couple of weeks, she has eczema and although she feels her skin is improving she’s struggling with the smell/taste - apparently it’s distinctly “bovine”!

B1indEye · 20/03/2025 20:27

They must be spending an absolute fortune on advertising, I can't move on SM without being bombarded and yes, I know I looked a Davina one once but now I just can't escape them

I'm interested though to know if it actually does anything

BurgundyZero · 20/03/2025 20:28

I take collagen from Holland and Barrett in pill form for my arthritis. The pills stink and I'm looking for an alternative. Is this dietary collagen or a cream?

FidosMum84 · 20/03/2025 20:39

I’ve been using Ancient & Brave Wild (marine) collagen. Used it for a month to try it out and I could tell a difference quite quickly. My skin in particular was lovely and clear and it improved the texture visibly. This one is best for skin hair and nails. So I signed up for a subscription and ordered the wrong one, got True collagen (bovine) so I used that for a month too. This does smell a bit more and I didn’t see the same skin benefits. Switched back to Wild collagen now on my subscription, and after a week or so my skin is better again.
I put a scoop in my morning coffee and can’t taste it. It has a slight smell but I don’t mind it.
I’ve used collagen gummies and tablets before and they were a waste of money and made no difference at all.

dicdicnurse · 20/03/2025 20:45

I’ve been using it for about three months now. I’ve noticed a real difference with my nails and my hair, plus I guess my skin is a little better too. It took about 4 weeks to really notice the results. I just bung mine in my morning cup of tea.

CharlotteCChapel · 20/03/2025 20:47

There's no evidence that taking collagen actually does anything.

LER83 · 20/03/2025 21:21

I used it for about a month, it tastes vile! I could taste it in everything, no matter how much I tried to disguise it! I've got a cheaper one from amazon now that I can't taste at all. Can't say I noticed a difference in hair/skin/nails etc with either of them though!

Pegsmum · 20/03/2025 21:29

I’m on my second jar of the True Collagen. I put it in my morning coffee and can’t smell or taste it at all. Nothing miraculous has happened yet although I do think my hair loss has slowed down.

Hedonism · 20/03/2025 21:34

I quite like the hot chocolate. I can't tell whether it does anything for me though, apart from allowing me to feel virtuous at the same time as drinking a hot chocolate.

tillyandmilly · 20/03/2025 21:35

Can’t take it as not vegetarian/vegan

PlainJaneSuperbrainthe2nd · 20/03/2025 21:50

I started taking it a while ago - I can't see any difference to my skin and hair but I think it has made a huge difference to peri aching joints - the aches seem to have completely vanished! I guess it might be coincidence and I'm aware it has a bit of a snake oil repo

PlainJaneSuperbrainthe2nd · 20/03/2025 21:50

Ooops! Snake oil reputation - but it's affordable for me and appears to help so I'm fine with it!

Holycowss · 20/03/2025 21:54

I’m on my 2nd jar, cannot taste or smell it in my morning coffee, also can’t say I’ve noticed it’s done anything, but with thinning bones i will continue and see

WinterIsNearlyHere · 20/03/2025 21:58

It definitely does something for me! First my nails, then hair and now my teenage DD said I had a nice skin 😱

Ladyymuck · 21/03/2025 07:02

I used it and did feel a difference but struggled with the taste. It’s advertised as being tasteless it’s definitely not. It very much tastes bovine and also the powder didn’t always disintegrate entirely. I did a bit of research and now take Kollo collagen which has 10000mg of collagen plus vitamins and tastes fruity.

GrimDamnFanjo · 21/03/2025 07:52

There are different types, I use the marine collagen and have been taking it for a year.

im not sure whether a difference has been made or not. A friend takes bovine which is supposed to improve joints and and swears by it.

Fagli · 21/03/2025 07:59

I can’t really taste it in my tea, have been taking it for a month now and not noticed anything.

B1indEye · 21/03/2025 08:04

tillyandmilly · 20/03/2025 21:35

When I looked into the different types there are vegan ones, are you saying they aren't genuine?

daffodilandtulip · 21/03/2025 08:07

Stupidly clicked on a link a few weeks ago and get bombarded daily by the cookies 😂 but I am interested to hear whether it works or not...

kalokagathos · 21/03/2025 09:25

Been using it for 7 months now. Feel better. Good skin, hair, and no more arthritic pain in my hands. Am 44. Also started Zoe and am on my target weight! Hooray 🙌 (after 15 years of trying to get there)

cosietea · 21/03/2025 11:29

Apologies for not being more clear in my original post!

It’s the bovine powder one not marine as I heard reviews that it was fishy and I absolutely can’t stand fish so swerved that one.

It has just arrived. Opened the jar and got my nose right in there and can’t smell anything. I have put 2 spoons (10ml) in my coffee and can’t taste anything different so that’s a good start for me.

I am 42 and slightly overweight and although I don’t think I’m peri menopausal I do notice more pain in my joints and some random acne appearing. So it’s really for joint pain, skin improvements and hair as I have always had fine hair and do worry about aging and what this will do.

@kalokagathos what is Zoe please?

I did do quite a lot of research and didn’t know A&B was endorsed by Davina, must have skipped me altogether! But this did seem to have the best reviews
