I just had lunch. It was 4 Pringles and a Pepsi max. #Healthy.

frogpigdonkey · 28/02/2025 14:18

Beans on toast. Rock and roll!

TrainGame · 28/02/2025 14:18

@ToffeeSheep have you tried a Kissabel apple? The season had finished now (it runs from November to February).

They are really good. Took me a while to adjust but then completely hooked.

They have red flesh inside. 😋

Chicken and veg stir-fry with rice noodles and a mixed salad, fruit for pudding. It's my day off work, otherwise I'd be having a pot noodle of some description and a yoghurt.

I just finished brunch.

2 slices of toast, bacon, poached eggs, baked beans & coffee followed by grapes & strawberries

M&S veggie soup
Chicken wrapped in bacon (leftovers)
Half an avocado
Handful of peanuts.

I am low-ish carb eating as going on holiday in May, for the first time in 6 years, can’t wait!

Hyperbowl · 28/02/2025 14:43

Left over sausage casserole from last night’s tea because I live on the edge. 😁

BugsyMaroon · 28/02/2025 14:43

I had a total disconnect between what i wanted and what i had.

I HAD curried egg mayo on half a bagel (homemade and not worth the calories) and what I WANTED was a Big Tasty meal.

jellyfishperiwinkle · 28/02/2025 14:44

I went to Itsu and had salmon sashimi and detox miso soup.

Chatterboxy · 28/02/2025 14:44

Bacon & Avocado sandwich

GeorgeCrabtreesAuntBegonia · 28/02/2025 14:47

Creamy carbonara pot noodle. I’ve recently had dental surgery and am on soft foods only for a while. Just about to follow it up with some raspberries.

JuvenileBigfoot · 28/02/2025 14:58

Buldak Rose ramen noodles.
Noodles for lunch is my current obsession, I love trying all the Korean/japanese/Indonesian etc ones. We have an Asian supermarket in our town centre.

blizymitzy · 28/02/2025 14:59

Leftover macaroni cheese with leeks and a tomato salad
It was lovely Grin

Tisfortired · 28/02/2025 15:00

Just finished my late lunch at work!

Ham, coleslaw and cucumber on a bread roll
Breadsticks and Philadelphia to dip
A pot of candy floss grapes
A penguin

Well balanced I think!

tobee · 28/02/2025 15:07

Nothing. I'm on fast day 5:2 diet and will be having a 500 calorie meal later. 😑

ItGhoul · 28/02/2025 15:27

I had a salt beef and mustard sandwich on white bread.

WorriedMillie · 28/02/2025 15:29

I had a goats cheese and red onion marmalade toastie at the garden centre, it was flipping lovely!

butterdish93 · 28/02/2025 15:31

A packet of garlic and lemon prawns and an avocado.
Then I had a satsuma.

Areolaborealis · 28/02/2025 15:36

Wholemeal bread sandwich with butter and cheese. Cucumber sticks, green apple, and a stack of pringles.

The fridge decided to stop working overnight, I tried the usual tactics but nothing worked so I did a sweep of what might go off and couldn’t be frozen. Luckily the freezer still works.

Assorted vegetable and chickpea soup (quite tasty considering) with ham and cheese toasties.
Tonight will be bacon Carbonara, roasted peppers and yoghurt with berries.

The new fridge-freezer is arriving on 8th March. A week without should put my ingenuity to the test but I have cool blocks and bags so I’ll keep small amounts of perishables in those.
