Hmm...they might have used different colouring for that letter. I assumed it must mean it appeared twice in one word.

Only saw the "crossover" icon (where the dice would be) at the end - it doesn't show up very well at all in dark mode.

@MarmiteWine I've not had that yellow/green combo before. I use a laptop and did the cursor hover over the yellow/green combo and it told me yes, there is the same letter in both words but in different places ... something along those lines. It made sense to me. But given I've never seen the same letter in both words in different places before it was a bit of a surprise!
