He was well primed he stroked dons ego.. He handed the royal letter he shmoozed... He grovelled just like macron, velvet glove iron fist. They totally stroked his ago but remained gently firm.

Unfortunately zelensky is totally emotionally, upset, pushed to the edge and I don't think this should have been public at all.

I feel trump is playing a clever game or rather his advisors are.
I think the "deal"is clever actually if it all goes ahead and what we they are in is a chess game.

How to try and out snake putin?
Go head to head and literally put the entire world at risk.
That can't happen.
So what does trump do he could carry on locked in this half war where we can't give them more proper stuff to help!
Every time we creep forward putin threatens and be could use nukes small nukes which would be devastating and we cannot respond too

This deal is clever.
It means the USA gets a foothold investment in Ukraine
If the USA does that... There will be something there for USA to "protect". USA is nato so essentially it's a backdoor way of getting USA support without going in putin face.

Unfortunately I don't think zelensky understands the nature of Trump which is extremely unfortunate.
On the other hand... Maybe trump will respect him more after this??

Unfortunately Trump is holding the card, zelensky is in a terrible desperate situation and he has to work with trump.

Nothing they sign or agree is worth the paper they're written on.

Trump, with his multiple bankruptcies and felony convictions, had already demonstrated he was not to be trusted.

"If someone shows who they are, believe them".
