I'm having stew. I made it last night so it's gonna be a simple case of sourdough/ wheaten bread with nice lurpack on it.

Umm, am I one of the few for feeling like a complete Mum Failure and taking out some fish finger's lol xx

This with salad and homemade sourdough bread to mop up the juices.

Beef ragu with garlic flatbread and salad. Putting the dc to bed before I have mine but i can smell it from upstairs 🤤

Pasta salad with mango, avocado, peppers etc in a coriander lime dressing with some tofu crumbles. The latter were an experiment and are ok but need at least twice as much seasoning next time!

Daughter made Taco pasta. Bloody lovely, and even better when I don't have to cook when I get home from work

Creamy leek, pesto and squash pie. Then with the leftover pastry I have made a raspberry custard tart which the kids are now devouring.

We’re having fake chicken drumsticks, corn on the cob with carrots and peas.

We’re using up what we have left in the freezer before we do our food shop on Saturday!

We had leftover lemon chicken orzo pasta (thank you Nigella) with fridge raid random things on the side - olives, sun dried tomatoes, peppers in oil, cold cooked prawns and aioli.

Roast duck legs with potatoes , garlic and rosemary ( Nigella recipe) with spinach.

I have to try taco pasta…

Stovies, it DH's speciality, a simple dish using up leftover over roast lamb, it looks like poverty food but lamb ain't cheap & it is filling and delicious plus he cooks and washes up so it ticks all the boxes for me 😋

Dh had fish fingers because I made a veggie lentil bake and he’s not keen.
Fishfingers are pretty healthy compared to some foods.

Egg fried rice with tofu and veg. On low fodmap but this is delish

I had chicken nuggets and chips (crinkle cut for a change)both from the freezer with a bit of salad.
DH & DC#1 had cheese burgers (from the freezer) and chips.
DC#2 had beans on toast.

Picky bits darling.

We had cod with roast tomatoes, garlic, herbs and capers with green beans and roast mini potatoes in their skins. DH made it and it was delicious.

A disappointing coq au vin done in the slow cooker. A bit too liquidy and just a bit meh.
