Anyone Celebrating Valentines Day?

DH & I exchange cards & he always buys a dozen red roses plus sometimes chocolates (I’ve requested white Lindt truffles this year as they’re on offer at Asda). I don’t usually get him anything except maybe some chocolate. He also buys flowers for DD16. We’ll have steak for tea & I have a bottle of alcohol free Freixenet cava to try. Hopefully it’s nicer than the fizz I had on NYE which tasted like manure!

As a kid, my soft toys sent me a card so i didn’t feel I was missing out

Certainly nothing for dc. They are grown now. I've book a restaurant for dh and I

Guy I’ve been seeing for a while has booked a really nice hotel for the night. We’re not technically a “thing” and we’re both in agreement that it’s just for fun. In past relationships I would celebrate, never really had to think about it tbh. Simple things like a card, chocolates, a nice dinner at home. Growing up my dad would always buy my sisters and I chocolates, flowers, teddies etc ❤️

@MoreDangerousThanAWomanScorned ha that's a few of us with husbands/OH's who selfishly decided to be born on Valentines Day... typical! 😆

We used to before dc. Flights out to Dublin or Venice, theatre, cinema or a takeaway.
Never with cards of gifts really though if dh happens to be working in the office that day, he may buy a box of posh chocolates on his way home.
