Your favourite songs not in English

I went down a youtube rabbit hole last night and ended up listening to loads of 80s Europop. Rock me Amadeus, Voyage Voyage etc. Good times 😁 it got me wondering about other non-English songs that have hit the charts. The Macarena and Gangnam Style I guess? Any other favourites?

I used to have a soundtrack CD from Wes Anderson's, "The Darjeeling Limited." There were some lovely sort of Bollywood songs on that. "Typewriter Tip Tip Tip" was a catchy tune.

I love J-Rock and Visual Kei.

Romance by Buck-Tick. Atsushi Sakurai was a beautiful man with a beautiful voice.

Albachiara by Vasco Rossi. Every Italian between the ages of 3 to 80 knows every single lyric.

I love this one. I feel almost as though I’m on a beach on the Côte d’Azur in a glamorous bygone era. No, not like Mr Bean.

This one is partly English but mashed up with traditional Indian classical music. It's one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard.
