Just looked at a thread about two thirds of the people in England being overweight and got me thinking how much others generally eat/exercise and if that does make a difference to their weight.

Today, I've had porridge on it's own (made with 40g) oats. Two biscuits. Two egg omelette with 1.5oz cheese and six cherry tomatoes. Will probably have apple and nuts when I get hungry around 4pm (usually happens) and later we're having homemade sweet and sour with quorn and veggies (I'll have beanshoots under mine instead of noodles as I'm prediabetic and have to limit unrefined carbs and shouldn't be eating too much sweet stuff - yes, I know I've had two biscuits, but everything else is good).

I think I eat loads, but refuse to be hungry and exercise a lot.

Big banana
Greek yoghurt mixed with special k, mixed fruit and nuts and blueberries
Crumpet with bovril, slice of bloomer bread with peanut butter and an apple
Tin of sardines in tomato sauce, 2 ryvita, 4 crackers
2 glasses of red
Bowl of homemade chilli with tenderstem broccoli.

Eat a variation of this every single day, more nuts and wine on some days.

3 fried eggs with ketchup and a piece of toast.
Another piece of toast with marmite.
Four ricecakes with chilli hummus, Tabasco and cucumber slices.
Two bowls of porridge with golden syrup.
Several more teaspoons of golden syrup.

Healthy weight and breastfeeding. Yesterday I ate 15 fish fingers for dinner 🫣

Two coffees this morning
Lunch was a tin of tomato soup with a ham roll followed by grapes and a handful of banana and pecan trail mix
Two mugs of tea this afternoon plus a pint of water
Tea was a bowl of porridge with a chopped banana simply because that’s what I fancied!

Greek yoghurt with strawberries and seeds
Avocado toast with fried egg
Pineapple fried rice with chicken
2 coffees and mint tea
half a mango, apple, small bowl of grapes and half a banana with peanut butter

I’m breastfeeding and ravenous most of the time!

I can't imagine anything more soul destroying than weighing all my food for the rest of my life. I'd rather die a couple of years early.

Anyway, to answer the question:

A hot cross bun for breakfast. (7am)
Raspberries and a packet of walkers baked crisps. (11am)
Leftover chorizo orzo for lunch (packed with veggies too), followed by a slice of strawberries and cream swiss roll. (1.30pm)
A fudge bar when I got out of work at (5.45pm)
Tomato and olive pasta for dinner. (7.30pm). A single chocolate finger afterwards when making lunches for tomorrow.

I'm sure the chocolate finger and cake are the reason I'm a massive fatty.

I 'close my rings' on my apple watch every day, calories ring is set at 900. I'm on my feet all day (bar lunch time if I'm not on duty) and don't have time for specific exercise during the week because I work 10 hour days (plus commute, plus evening planning).

2 chicken thighs brushed with zhoug paste and roasted
A heaped table spoon of white rice
Green beans with lemon, garlic and rosemary

I'm reading this with both interest and fascination, but above all, questions.
This genuinely is not intended to come across as some kind of a stealth brag( as I recognise the MN phrase is) but I realise some might think it is.

My question is how do people get hungry enough to eat generally these amounts? Admittedly I don't feel hunger really, it seems to be a family trait.
We have Ehlers Danlos and I don't know if that's the reason but I don't tend to feel hunger very often. If I eat when I'm not hungry, I can't get food down and feel like I'm going to vomit as I'm so full. I always eat as soon as I am hungry, I just don't get hungry very often.
I love a few haribo or a couple of biscuits and pick at them just because. I'll snack on banana or fruit if I'm out and always have fruit in my bag when I'm on the go, but I can't imagine fitting in three meals a day. My sibling are all the same. I know I'm very weird.

Has anyone ever heard of this?
I know normal people eat but I can't imagine being able to ever fit in normal amounts.
Doctors all day I'm a healthy weight so not skeletal or anything. I'm just very curious and mystified.
