Help! Need a bra or bra liner for extra sensitive skin

I currently can't wear a bra due to a skin condition making the area under and around my boobs really sensitive. I've got big boobs which means I can't leave the house!

Any suggestions please?

Of course you can leave the house. It's not illegal nor inappropriate.

It may not be what you're used to, but just do what you have to do!

Your skin is a more important.

I can't turn up to work without a bra on.

What are you sensitive to, in particular? Is it synthetic fabric? Is it rubbing?
Although I agree there's nothing wrong with not wearing a bra.
What I find comfortable might not work for you, so you might need to share more detail.

but you can wear fabric

just not wires and lacy bras or is it the rubbing off your skin that’s the problem?

could you wear a cotton sports bra type thing?

Whoopsss · 30/01/2025 13:22

I wear sports bras from m and s some are scratchy and some are soft. Sloggi zero feel is good, gives a little bit of support. Sometimes i wear 2 sports bras for support. Im 38GG. Tissue or panty liners under the breasts and body powder or glide non chafing ointments also help with rubbing.
Going without a bra as much in lockdown made my breasts sag more and hurt my back so i dont recommend braless plus it just looks slobby when you are bigger lets be real.. but if you do then wear waist coat or do a loose jumper on top.l and those lycra vests under.

I couldn’t not wear a bra either btw! No way.

I'd try searching for "organic cotton bra for sensitive skin" or something like that, include words like eczema, sensitivities, undyed etc

Have a look at the tops from Manners London. They magically support boobs without being constrictive or sweaty/ irritating

Have a look at the Royce Impact Free sports bra. It’s 100% cotton and has a really wide underband which spreads the pressure on the under- bust area. Unwired, and it goes up to large cup sizes. I wear this a lot due to extremely sensitive skin (I size up in the band as it feels too tight in my usual size).

This company are also good - expensive (American, and made to order) but might be worth it if you’re desperate?

decentexposures.com

They advertise custom fit and sensitive skin solutions.
