Here the Welsh government are keen for you to do them but you don't have to. My daughter who finds all exams easy did them with no problem, it depends on the child. Exams in my opinion are a load of bullshit and not a reflection of the child anyway.

My daughter has aced every exam she has ever sat, my son definitely will not. He could build things my daughter never could and solve problems she couldn't. You can't measure intelligence one way.

Pull him out, or put him off sick. Your child's mental health is not worth the school statistics.
