Eggs - mine are in the fridge
Fruit - in a bowl on the side
Butter - in the fridge, I'm a minimalist so don't like it on the side
House/car keys - in a dish at the back door
Hoover - in the garage!

i dont like things on my sides either op! Only things ‘out’ are a kettle and a beer pump - both for dhs benefit 😂

keys- key dish in the kitchen away from any doors / windows
hoover - cordless upstairs / cordless downstairs / couple in the garage

House/car keys - 😂 literally they live in the car, we live on a farm in a remote area, I never lock the car or the house if we’re home (though we do have a lot of security lights and very obvious cctv), never in all these years has anything been stolen and I’m too lazy to change now.
Hoover - it’s usually in the middle of the bloody hall where I will trip over it

Fruit in a hand hewn wooden bowl from the early 1800s.
Packs of butter, bought while on sale, in the freezer until ready to use, then in the fridge.
Car keys, hanging from a hook in a Faraday pouch.
Hoover in the laundry room.
Clothes airer/drier, very important item in the winter months, in spare room upstairs.
Hairdryer lives inside a bathroom vanity drawer.
Ironing board keeps the Hoover company in the laundry room.
Ketchup in the fridge.

Fruit - fruit bowl, except for grapes which should be cold so live in the fridge.
Butter - on the side. I can’t stand butter that won’t spread and DS won’t eat his toast if his butter is at all visibly un-melted.
House/car keys - in the old fashioned (and thus wholly impractical) weighing scales.
Hoover - Hetty lives under the stairs. The little handheld hoover lives under the fish tank.

Eggs. In a china chicken (like on BREAD) most of the year. In the fridge when it's over 25 degrees C

Fruit. Rarely buy it, but when I do, I put it in a fruit bowl.

Butter. Always in a butter dish. You can't spread it otherwise! (I do put it in the fridge when it's above 25 C though.)

House/car keys. On the key rack in the built-in hall cupboard.

Hoover. Also in the built-in hall cupboard (with the ironing board, shoes, iron, wellies, coats, towels, bedsheets, and all sorts.)

Eggs - in a basket on top of the base of my scales
Butter - spreadable in the fridge, my block butter in a butter dish on the worktop
Car/house keys - both hung on the hooks in the cupboard under the stairs
Ironing board - cupboard under the stairs
Vac - spare bedroom at the moment
Potatoes/veg - pine box under the kitchen sink

Eggs - on the kitchen worktop in their box
Fruit - in the fridge
Keys - in the locked door
Butter - can't afford it, but I do have a butter dish for the day I can!

Hoover - cordless downstairs just sat next to the bin in kitchen , Henry hoover goes upstairs in the dressing room

Fruit - in a bowl in the dining room. Posh bamboo bowl as well. Oh ok, a tenner from IKEA
Butter - in the fridge
House/car keys - mine are in the front door, don't care if my car gets nicked, it's not mine.
Hoover - on the wall in kitchen

ketchup - probably fridge. Only the youngest uses it.
Posh Biscuits - I'm not saying!!

Butter - in a dish in the cupboard, can't leave it out on the side because the cats knock the lid off and make merry with it.

I can't be doing with unspreadable butter.
