If you’re a size 10 what bra size are you?

Just the inches part. Are you 36”?

I’m trying to lose weight (not weighing myself, just measuring) and I looked on ASOS to see what a 10 would be and it’s says 36”? But I assumed a 10 was closer to 32”?

This chart feels off…

Would assume it means measurement around the bust (the full part) not actual bra size if its for clothes.

But that chart will be measuring around the fullest part of the bust not the under bust.

My bust measurement (not bra size!) is 34 inches and although I'm a 10 in some shops, I'd probably get an 8 from ASOS, so it sounds about right to me.

Boob or Bust (best measuring technique imo) would probably say 30/32 as they advocate reducing your band size down as small as possible and upping the cup sizes to adjust for it.

Have you got the tools at home to measure your underbust?

I'm sometimes an 8, sometimes a 10 - I'm 34 in , so looks about right to me

I do get back hamsters though, but a 34 is too big. Fitter in Rigby and Peller was horrified at me wearing a 34.

I'm 34hh and a 14, that is measuring the fullest part of the bust which is between -42 and 44 on me

I’m a 10, sometimes an 8, and somewhere between 34 and 36 so that looks right to me.

But the chart shown will be for an over bust measurement

Just measure under your boobs - that's where the bra band goes, and it stretches where a measuring tape doesn't.

I'm a 36C, measure 35 underbust and am size 14 so 10 would probably be less than 36

I'm a size 8 and my boobs are 33 inches beneath breasts. Meaning I need a 34. So I reckon 36 is about right for a ten. I do have quite a wide back and broad shoulders though.

Is that chart for bras or for normal clothes because then a 10 would be about 36, I think that 14 is about 39 or 40

I'm not talking g about the chart though, I'm just answering the initial question in the title.

Yes I have a clothing tape measure in inches and cm, I just want to know roughly want inch size I should aim for (cup size is irrelevant)

I’m 34 and a generous size 16 on top.

All I’ve learnt is that a 10 seems to range from 28” to 34” 🙈. I wish there was just a standard size for all clothes.

I'm a UK 8-10 (depending on the fit). I'm a 34, I've always been a 34 my whole life (except when I was pregnant).
Oh, I used to be a UK size 12 as well, and I was still a 34!

Don't they say that a 34 c is the same as a 32 d, more or less? Or a 36b the same as 34c? A store assistant once told me that in a lot of years ago; not sure how accurate that is.

I think the sizes in the chart which look like clothes measurements so over bust conflict with the thread title and bra size,
