I feel mine is cluttered

I have a lamp. But it looks a bit dated. Then tablets, photo propped up not in a frame, handcrean, pillow spray, foot spray, coaster. It looks cluttered. But I need all these things before I go to bed

Charger for my watch, lamp, Kindle, Alexa, water bottle at night, Kindle charging cable.

JustAboutMuddlingThrough · 10/01/2025 19:08

A fuck ton of junk

Havalona · 10/01/2025 19:08

I thought I was the only one who had a bedside locker like a building site!

Top - jug of water, glass, pills, hearing aid charger, watch charger, stand for tablet and phone, various charging cables. Lamp is attached to the bed head with one of those big clip things, more space for stuff lol.

I have three drawers in said bedside furniture. All filled with crap that I will absolutely, definitely, for sure need some night. Nope that hasn't happened yet.

No lamp,as it’s wall mounted

henlake7 · 10/01/2025 19:15

Lamp, clock, ornament.

Overnight also chargers, phone, tissues, tablet, remotes and hand cream but I pop all that crap away when I get up.

zebranotzeebra · 10/01/2025 19:15

Lamp, alarm clock, journal & pen, kindle, tissues, ear plugs, lip balm. When I tried putting them in a drawer, I didn't use them so cluttered it is!

Sheepareawesome · 10/01/2025 19:18

Everything! I am not exactly known for being tidy. I have a light, and clock and a water bottle. A mirror with a tray with earrings in. A hairdryer and 2 brushes, scissors, several books, glasses case, pot with make up brushes, make up, 2 perfumes, several pens, a stapler, some post it notes, some packets of seeds that came with Gardeners' World magazine, a pencil sharpener, some hairbands, a nail file. A hole punch, another nail file, some old envelopes and letters, some wool and several crochet hooks. A list of passwords for websites that I made a few years ago. A couple of Kool n Soothes, some paracetamol and ibuprofen and empty packs and boxes of these also. Probably some kit kat wrappers too. Not much dust though....not really anywhere to put it!!

TigerRag · 10/01/2025 19:20

Eye mask, ear plugs, phone, white noise machine and inhaler

HundredMilesAnHour · 10/01/2025 19:20

A huge lamp, a Roberts radio (a beautiful teal leather bound one), flowers (in a teal brick shaped vase), an Anissa Kermiche popotin candle, a coaster (made from volcanic lava and silver), Gloved hand lotion and Haeckels lip balm.

And tucked away down the side of the bedside table in a wall-holder are the remote controls for Sky/TV and the soundbar.

On the other side's bedside table, there's an Echo Show, a Kindle Paperwhite, a Neom wireless diffuser (with lavender oil), another Anissa Kermiche popotin candle and 2 lamps.

BilboBlaggin · 10/01/2025 19:22

A lamp, reading glasses and remote for my fan. Little bits like tablets and nail clippers are in the drawer.

Dr13Hadley · 10/01/2025 19:23

Airpods
Empty water glass on a coaster
Melatonin

It's a small chest of drawers though so most of my crap is in the top drawer (nail file, nail clippers, hair bobbles, steroid cream for my eczema when it gets itchy in the night, pillow spray, hand cream, ibuprofen and a random Crunchie that I confiscated off one of the kids over Xmas that I'm saving for a chocolate emergency!)

MrsSethGecko · 10/01/2025 19:23

12 books
Depression glass dishes (pink) with hair bobbles etc in them
Three perfumes
Old lamp with pink fringe

mlc0 · 10/01/2025 19:25

Lamp, phone/watch charger, drink & my glasses usually

Titsywoo · 10/01/2025 19:25

A lamp, lots of books, tv remotes, air con remote, coaster, mist diffuser

ReignOfError · 10/01/2025 19:26

Lamp, clock, glass of water, reading glasses (and overnight my varifocals too) and either a book or my Kindle.

Occasionally a puzzle/sudoku book and pen.

ChocolateTea · 10/01/2025 19:27

A pile of unread books, a charger. A glass of water and normally a cup of tea. My medication. Lamp is on the shelf next to it with my alarm clock.

OldTinHat · 10/01/2025 19:29

A lamp, a Yankee candle diffuser thing that is supposed to puff out relaxing sleep stuff. Tablets and more tablets. My phone on charge when I'm in bed.

Trifficultly · 10/01/2025 19:31

A lamp, coaster, glass of water and a book.

sadeightiesthrowback · 10/01/2025 19:32

Small touch lamp that's dated, but useful.
A book that could go, as I never get round to reading it, or putting it away, my phone, the control pad for coloured LEDs around window, 2 unusual lacquered rocks my DD brought me from a lake, and a journal/calendar.

MargaretThursday · 10/01/2025 19:32

Mine has: Dh's old radio alarm clock from the 80s. It had a really nice light you could dim which is why I had it. Unfortunately it overheated a couple of months ago, and dh knows it needs to go, so I need to move it soon.
My reading glasses for reading.
Gaviscon tablets in case I need them in the night.
The book I'm currently reading (The Marlows and the traitor). Okay, I admit: Re-reading.
A pencil for when I do a puzzle instead.
A Nintendo ds pen. I have no idea why.
"£1.32 in coppers.
Dust

InAPickle25 · 10/01/2025 19:32
