I have just taken a 7.5mg zoplicone tablet. I hardly ever take them, and am going through a stressful period where I am having trouble sleeping. I took one about ten minutes ago, having forgotten that I had two single G&Ts earlier this evening - between 6.30 and 7.30. I've had a full meal since. Will I be okay? I've tried to make myself throw up and can't? Do I need to go to the hospital? Please help, am freaking out and on my own - my husband is away until Sunday.

People really need to ring 111 instead of asking advice here.

Why would you think it would take so long? I have had several 111 call backs and never waited more than about 90 minutes. I think it's a wonderful service. Last time I had to call they arranged a GPs appointment for me less than an hour later at my local hospital- and this was at 11pm at night.

it will depend where in the country you are. i had to phone the other day for my daughter. waited 90mins to be answered. then about an hour on the actual phone between the call handler and nurse to be told i would get a call back which took a further 2 hours and was offered an appointment 6 hours later at a hospital a 20min drive away when there is 1 on my doorstep and despite having an appointment we were then at the hospital for 2 hours. and to top it all i obviously picked up something in the waiting room and have shit myself inside out for days and i’m severely dehydrated and can’t do that rigmarole for myself.

You’ll be fine, maybe sleepy and may alter your sleep, dreams, restless or you may even just a good night sleep. Do not worry x

Thanks everyone for all advice. I went to sleep and probably do feel a bit groggier than usual this morning but nothing terrible.

And @Gorgeousfeet I’m sorry to hear about your anxiety and your having to manage it without your husband there for so long.

I said "people," meaning that this isn't the first thread where someone has asked MN in an emergency instead of phoning 111.
