Rechargable debobbler.

Which clothes steamer have you got, @SoulMole? I have a little handheld one, but am toying with a bigger version with a stand.

For me:

Apple Watch
Soup maker
Air fryer

Hand held too. Only a cheap Tefal one. Does the job!

@StrictlyAFemaleFemale
What is a yum box lunch box

It’s a brand of bento box style lunchbox for school or work. Expensive.

Another dog after my previous one died almost 4yrs ago.

BuzzYourGirlfriendWoof · 29/12/2024 13:06

Remote controlled plug sockets…no more scrabbling on the floor behind the Christmas tree for me….all lamps dotted around one room activated with one click…a true joy!

Wallywobbles · 29/12/2024 13:08

Tumble dryer

Smart watch - I'm obsessed with tracking exercise and sleep.

cocoloco23 · 29/12/2024 13:13

Exercise

I was bullied at school by other kids and my PE teacher for being so uncoordinated. Found a great personal trainer in my 40s and now feel a sense of accomplishment when I exercise. I’m trying to get stronger and fitter as I head into my 50s. I want to stay healthy as long as I can.

Oooh interesting as am thinking of getting one but don’t want anything to make life more complicated 😀

A terrier
Heated throw

Agree about the heated throw! Instant luxury!

Dolphinnoises · 29/12/2024 13:16

Waste disposal unit. I always thought they were pointless until I bought a house with one in it. Wouldn’t be without it now…

Bewareofthisonetoo · 29/12/2024 13:16

Soup maker -yes!!

Kindle

Swore I'd always read "proper" books.
Aging eyesight has made me reassess, lovely to adjust text size, not have to search for reading glasses, back lit so can read in bed without DH getting the hump as bedside lamp is on and can take loads of books on holiday and it weighs next to nothing.
But I miss the cover art of real books, the fact I don't have to charge them and they don't glitch every now and then and easier to recall the authors and titles as I see it every time I pick the book up, also browsing and buying books in a book shop is a real joy.

Aww, this brought tears to my eye. I kind of feel like this at the moment, January is always a reflective month for me

FutureFry · 29/12/2024 13:34

Bean to cup coffee machine. Don't have to buy coffee out ever again as I can make better at home.

Mac book. I tried to downgrade recently and I had to go back to Apple as the Asus wasn't user friendly at all.

Baby sleeping bags. No need to keep putting the blanket back on and baby sleeps better.

Pampers "poonami proof" nappies for nights. If I use regular nappies she pees through them every night.

Marble kitchen table. Looks stunning and so easy to keep clean.

IKEA Kallax for the kids'toys.

slightlydistrac · 29/12/2024 13:35

Time on my own for at least part of the day, every day.

alwaysnapping · 29/12/2024 13:44

Noise cancelling headphones.

livingafulllife · 29/12/2024 14:08

Coffee.
Lucky back pack.
And my freedom.

Pollydollydoodle · 29/12/2024 14:11

@Gall10 @Bluesteps my heated car seats are definitely a close second to my Apple Watch!
