For me it's my Apple Watch!

Alexa with Alexa plugs have made an enormous difference. It’s so easy to programme routines to turn things on and off, it helps with home security, it’s handy when you are in bed but have forgotten to turn something off. All round fab.

Audiobooks

Oceangrey · 29/12/2024 09:53

Also the Headspace app. I don't use most of it but the sleepcast story things actually do put me to sleep really fast and miraculously work on my kids too.

Aposterhasnoname · 29/12/2024 09:55

Alexa, Apple Watch and robo vac. All three life changing.

ShatDiamond · 29/12/2024 09:56

Ear plugs! I carry them with me and use them in cinemas, on public transport, in noisy cafes. It reduces my headaches. I have the Loom Earplugs extra small fit my tiny ears and stay in. They do.xxs/ child size for anyone who struggles with earphones or plugs staying in. Loom does differrent insolation levels so if you just want to take the edge off sharp shreaking kids but still want to hear any announcements or alarms you can get ones that do so.

Children and pets are not things! They don't count!

For me it's my Apple Watch!

For me it is also my Apple Watch.
and it was my Velvetiser RIP.

I didn’t t like my apple watch when I first got it (upgraded when my Fitbit died) but now I couldn’t live without it (Ok, a bit extreme!)

But I feel I’m the only person in the world who thinks air fryers are over rated. I have a ninja which I would get rid of tomorrow except my son loves it. It’s big, lumpy, takes up so much worktop space. All I cook in it is hash browns, crispy mushrooms, breaded chicken & onion rings 😂 . I’d rather put the oven on.

Simonjt · 29/12/2024 10:13

My phone and libre sensor, being able to sleep through and not having to set mid sleep alarm is amazing.

babasaclover · 29/12/2024 10:19

My daughters Nintendo switch for Xmas - the amount of joy it brings her and the games we can play together as a family have been great

Dog and iPad

Christmassydecs · 29/12/2024 10:26

My dishwasher. When I had a new kitchen fitted years ago at age 60 my daughter persuaded me to include one. I live alone and it seemed pointless but as I had the space and the kitchen fitter got me a discounted one I went for it. I’d hate to be without it now.

TheaBrandt · 29/12/2024 10:26

Apple watch
airpods
hot tub

Enough4me · 29/12/2024 10:27

Large flexi-drawer air fryer. I had a small one I loved for years, but the big one covers most meals now.

BettyBardMacDonald · 29/12/2024 10:28

Sleep mask. Game-changer.

thebear1 · 29/12/2024 10:30

Paper family calendar with month to view, cheap but really helps me be organised. Also love my Android tablet and phone.
