Blake Lively suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment

According to TMZ Blake Lively is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment on the set of ‘It Ends With Us’.

According to the lawsuit, a meeting was held in regards to the hostile work environment. Blake demanded that Baldoni stop showing nude videos or images of women to her, no more mention of Baldoni's alleged previous "pornography addiction," no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew's genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake's weight, and no further mention of Blake's dead father and no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by Blake outside of the script Blake approved when signing onto the project.

Baldoni’s representative have denied the allegations and state this is an effort for Blake to rehabilitate her recent poor image.

I think some of these celebs need to grow up and talk things out, instead of slapping each other with multi million pound lawsuits

They agree literally beforehand that they would keep almost kissing. I watched it again today!

I don't think it should have got this far with the lawsuits.

The main issue in this whole situation is that it's now becoming more and more possible that JB did not in fact sexually assault BL.

I'm not saying he categorically didn't, but it's looking a lot less likely due to what's been publically posted.

It's alleged that BL told Sony that if they didn't use her cut of the movie that she would accuse JB of harassment. I have no idea if that is true, but if it is, I am so angry that this woman has made it so much more difficult for genuine victims to come forward.

That’s exactly what JB’s lawyers want you to think hence the media leaks.

BL has not accuse him of SA anyway, merely SH and a smear campaign.

Two things.

One, if you have no idea if it's true, don't post it. It's just being a flying monkey.

Two, the misogynist message that it's feckless, lying women who cause genuine victims not to come forward is utter bullshit. It's used in every male sexual crime towards women, from rape to harassment. But never with regard to mugging or GBH or arson or any other crime. It's only FEMALE liars involving MALE perps who cause this. Even though the rate of false accusation is no different for other crimes.

The reason female victims don't come forward is fear, embarrassment and shame coupled with knowledge that the likelihood is that they will be treated like shit by male police, male judges and male media, and get no justice. With some handmaidens thrown in for good measure.

Good for BL for bucking the trend.

If she was sexually harassed. She was.

In the potential scenario that she lied or exaggerated anything that happened- it still doesn't affect any other victims.

It's better BL came forward and hasn't backed down when he paid a PR firm to destroy her reputation.

I haven't read the website and haven't been following along too closely since the initial reporting, but I read some of the text messages recently reported by the media between the three of them and all I can say is they seem to be a whole different species of weird sycophants, some of the messages they were sending each other, from Ryan Reynolds to Justin Baldoni, from Justin Baldoni to Blake Lively, Blake Lively to Justin Baldoni, just make you think wtf are these people on, how can three functioning adults write messages like those..

It’s the same weirdly unprofessional, hyperbolic, hysteric and badly written spiel that his lawyers produced previously. It’s impossible to imagine a top flight lawyer in this country producing something of this tabloid calibre. It doesn’t read like any legal document I’ve ever come across just ungrammatical ad hominem attacks on BL’s character. Who starts a paragraph with “Though”?

Only in Hollywood would you find such sycophantic texts exchanges like that. That this nonsense is now out in the public domain for us all to read, how embarrassing for all concerned particularly if you are RR.

The emails from Sony, the third party do shift the power play argument. It's pretty clear Blake had total control of the movie in the end. There is footage of Blake telling an audience that without permission of Sony she was going to show them the whole movie, with a what Blake lively wants comment. I am on the fence and will be till discovery as both could be telling some truths. But I really hate blind belief, it diminishes the argument. Justin will never fully clear his name and neither will Blake or Ryan

It's fascinating stuff reading through the lawsuits.

Probably my biggest takeaway is that nobody comes across well in the situation, and they're pretty much all horribly unprofessional and the entire Hollywood world seems toxic AF.

I agree that the wording of that lawsuit is ridiculous though - it's like it's been written by a teenage girl. What credible lawyer refers to somebody's "megacelebrity" friend?

However, there's some very big gaps in narrative from the JB lawsuit. If you took it at face value, you'd have to believe that BL set out to destroy JB's career and reputation for no reason whatsoever, just out of pure malice and spite, when he'd been nothing but kind towards her, and in her own words she'd been effusive and friendly towards him too. It simply doesn't add up.

Plus their own evidence supplied is extremely flimsy. Using an example of BL talking about an outfit as sexy or referring to breastfeeding to suggest that she couldn't be uncomfortable with any comments about her body by JB? Showing texts where she's made a joke as proof that she can't have felt harassed by his behaviour at other times?

Even the evidence that they didn't plant some specific stories or negative social media content strongly suggests they did plant others.

It will be very interesting to see how it all plays out anyway.
