Why are you embarrassed about buying organic sprouts?

Because it's quite a wanky thing to do. To the extent that @I8toys used it as a piss-take! Not that I blame her.

I think it’s the lording it over everyone she was mocking, not the organic sprouts.

It's not a wanky thing you do . If you like organic then that's what you buy. You do what you and you family like and what works for you . I'm the opposite and like processed shit 🤣

I mean my mum grew her own sprouts this year and they're the size of peas...

And I wouldn't dream of judging you for it! Like you say, people should just eat what they like and not worry about what anyone else is eating.

Enjoy your "processed shit", I bet it's delicious!

@DreamW3aver
Meh, I'm still calling myself a pro!!
I purposely just posted and didn't read any comments and a IMO a decent estimate I was only £1.95 off. My last wining estimate was £2.45 off.

abracadabra1980 · 18/12/2024 21:26

£55

ilovepixie · 18/12/2024 22:03

Gonna say nothing as you shop lifted it 😂😂

I4gotmyname · 18/12/2024 14:44

That's OK . At least my family will be more healthy and I will learn something. Sod the neighbours my children's health come first

Your children's health comes first? Are you sure? That's not what the picture looks like.

That reply was a piss take surely ? Otherwise how sanctimonious can you get ?
You might have the lifestyle that allows you to turn your garden into a bloody allotment but other people are facing challenges that you clearly don’t have.
If it is a piss take then forgive me - it went over my head . If not - stop now with your superior attitude 😡

Oh - it’s a piss take of supercilious sanctimonious number at its best (or do I mean worst)!

pumpkinpillow · 18/12/2024 15:21

Apparently this is not true - you do actually save. It was on Moneybox I think.
Of course you've sold your soul and your identity but what's that compared to a Molly's cheesecake?!

Tesco are welcome to my name, address, phone number and shopping preferences. Indeed, to my very soul!

You seened ti have missed what I was replying to. I have already admitted to what a bad parent I am and o have made my children suffer . And someone kindly suggested how I could make things better . They said some of it might upset the neighbours. And I replied that it's OK my children come first. So I'm honestly going to do better for them.

How horrible are you? Picking on a stranger over the Internet over a turkey and a few tubs of chocolate for Christmas. Get over yourself.

Whaleandsnail6 · 19/12/2024 07:33

Some of the replies on this thread are so judgemental and pathetic

The op clearly stated this is food for Christmas and what her family will enjoy as treats. Not an every day shop but treats for a family Christmas.

I have fond memories of passing the chocolate tub round whilst all watching tv with family when I was a kid, the processed vienneta, the bisto gravy... Its amazing we lived to be healthy adults judging by some of the replies on this thread.

As if someone was sanctimonious enough to post a recipe for home made cheesecake 🙄 Stuff being busy with your own life, work, enjoyment or hobbies at Christmas op, you should be making fresh cheesecake .

Someone was off sick the day they taught irony at school, weren't they?

johnworf · 19/12/2024 09:50

Just spotted the chocolate coins in the photo and shamed myself as I've eaten the ones I bought for the grandchildren. 😳

They will be replaced before Christmas before anyone reports me to Childline.

Tesco and other supermarkets aren't giving anything away free. Think about the bigger picture of this. They slightly inflate the prices so the club card prices are factored in already. Businesses are for making money not giving it away, you've already paid on other things with higher prices but it's not really noticed.
The brain is hotwired to see certain coloured labels and it registers as a good deal so it automatically seeks them out ignoring other things around it. Totally natural to want to get a bargain even if it isn't.
A bit like Black Friday sales when stuff is cheaper because companies are clearing out old stock to make way for the new and latest.

🤣🤣
technically not free, but if you’re using points it’s not cash coming out from your purse when you’re using them!!!

I didn't get the chance . As soon as I picked up gs and ds . They were onto me. Where's my coins 😅

Will you have enough money to feed your children healthy food over the whole Christmas break, as you've said that you've spent the £60 voucher you got for their free school meals while the school was closed on this meal for 9 people.

If you can, good for your kids.

Yes I definitely can .I don't normally rely on the vouchers. As such. I had a few saved from months ago so I was able to add it to the Xmas shop .

Around £60-£65 but the turkey threw me off as I can’t see the weight if it

I can’t believe that you have used money intended to pay for lunches for your children for Christmas dinner
