Have you seen his Facebook Reel of “Rob Lowe robs Lowe’s” (the DIY shop)?

Also Will Bill, shame ITV didn't commission any more

My mum thought she loved Rick Astley until she saw a picture of him and found out he was so young. She'd loved his voice and assumed he was an older man.

We both had a crush on Sean Bean - I still do.

FloordrobeIsGoingToGetME · 14/12/2024 13:51

I love that so many of our mums had people who were dishy!!!

I wonder that today's alternative term would be?

40andprettybored · 14/12/2024 13:54

In the 90s I remember she was obsessed with Ruud Gillit (think that's the spelling) and Ralph Fiennes.

Lifelover16 · 14/12/2024 13:55

My big crush in 1980s/90s was Don Johnson in Miami Vice. He seemed so cool then roaring around Miami in his Ferrari after the bad guys.
Now in hindsight he looked ridiculous in his white suits with the jacket sleeves rolled up, white loafers/ no socks and highlighted beachy hair.

Lifelover16 · 14/12/2024 13:57

My mum would’ve been 93 and loved Sasha Distel.

JockTamsonsBairns · 14/12/2024 14:04

Noel Edmonds and Inspector Morse!

spanieleyes · 14/12/2024 15:14

Sean Bean as Sharpe- especially in the " Sir, there are ladies present, in that case I would expect there to be gentlemen present too" scene.

Not that I've watched it more than a few times😊

OnlyFrench · 14/12/2024 15:37

Anything in trousers, and she's no different in her eighties 😊🤭

TaraRhu · 14/12/2024 16:53

Phillip Schofield!!

Unescorted · 14/12/2024 17:02

James Nesbit... Which was fine until I mentioned in front of the kids that we had to watch Missing because he was in it. My DD booked a parents evening chat with her music teacher... Aka his sister. My DD took great pleasure in telling her that I fancied her brother. I could not get out of there fast enough.
